Over 4,000 New York City Macy's employees are threatening to go on strike on Thursday if they can't agree on new contract terms.
For the past 5 weeks the retailer's management has been hammering out a new agreement with the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union, but as with most negotiations the major battle is over money.
In the new contract, Macy's proposed "a 35-cent hourly wage increase for current workers, and no change to the starting hourly wage of $7.50, which union negotiators have said does not constitute a living wage in New York".
If a deal can't be reached by midnight, employees are more than ready to stop working until they get what they want.

Looks like America's favorite TV personality isn't going anywhere!
CBS has just renewed NCIS for a ninth season, and Mark Harmon has signed a two-year contract, so it's likely we'll be treated to a tenth season as well.
Here's what CBS Entertainment chief Nina Tassler had to say about it:
“We are very confident Mark will continue on with the show. He’s very happy, and we’re thrilled to have him.”
Glad to hear it, CBS. We wish you continued success with NCIS!
Will U tune in for season nine of NCIS?
