Exciting times for Kelly Kapoor!

Following what's been described as "lengthy negotiations," The Office's Mindy Kaling was promoted to an executive producer position on the show!

When she started on the show, she was originally a producer…THEN she got promoted to co-executive producer in '08…and NOW she's finally reached the top of the producing chain!

And don't worry! Despite the fancy new job title, she'll still also continue her role as Kelly for the show's eighth season.

Congratulations, Mindy! SO well deserved!!!

It's gonna be pret-ty awkward when she runs into former co-workers…

Last month, as Maria Menounos' NBC contract was about to expire, we heard that the network wanted to keep her on Access Hollywood, but scale back on her contributions to other shows.

Looks like that didn't sit well with Maria, because not only has she left NBC, but she's signed a multi-year deal with Time Warner's Telepictures, which will have her co-hosting Access Hollywood rival show Extra with Mario Lopez!

See, Jessica! Things are looking up!

Last month, Jessica Simpson was reportedly devastated when she got snubbed for a judge's spot on X Factor US.

Despite losing out on that job, Jessica will still be returning to TV as a celebrity mentor on the new NBC reality series Fashion Star.

On the show, she'll "mentor aspiring designers as they compete for the chance to win a multi-million dollar contract to launch their own brands."

Given the fact that she has SUCH a successful clothing line, we're thinking she'll be great for this, and it looks like NBC and Universal Media Studios executive vice president Paul Telegdy feels the same way:

"With an almost billion-dollar lifestyle brand under her belt she is sure to be an excellent mentor to our up-and-coming designers."

Jessica will work alongside former model/fashion mogul Elle Macpherson, who will be hosting the show.

Congrats on the new gig, Jessica! We've got a good feeling about this one!

Bee Shaffer has packed her bags and moved to Hollywoodland!

The 23 year old East Coast transplant got herself a job at Glee creator Ryan Murphy's production company overseeing "research for the shows and projects".

An employee at Ryan Murphy Productions says Anna Wintour's spawn is currently working on Glee Live! 3D! and a new reality show titled Model Apartment.

How appropriate.

Now that Bee's moved across the country, maybe there will be more La Wintour sightings in El Lay!

Ohhh man! We should totally be in advertising, ha!

So, we've got it on good authority that Lynne Spears — mother of Brit and Jamie Lynn — has snatched up a job as a skincare salesperson, and that she also will go door to door if you set up an appointment!

The mother with famous daughters is now an "Independent Consultant" with a company called Rodan + Fields Dermatologists, and she'll be selling things like anti-age eyeclothes, to vitamin D supplements, and even a $160 anti-sun damage kit.

Here's what she had to say:

"My best friend, who is also a consultant brought me on board. I love the team I am working with and am excited about building my new business."

Not exactly sure that's your new business, but, we wish you the best either way! We hope you truly love what you do!

Almost 2 months after leaving her post at Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld already has a new employer: Barneys.

For her new gig, the former editor-in-chief will play stylist and guest editor for the fall advertising campaign, catalog, mailers and the Madison Avenue windows.

Barneys creative director Dennis Freedman added Carine will also act as the department store's muse because her personal style reflects their customers. He explains:

"She has a unique and extraordinary personal style. She appeals to all ages. She is independent and strong, and yet she is completely feminine. She is a woman of the world, which we like to think our customer is, as well."

That also means Carine will be spending a lot more time in New York City, or as she calls it her "dream city".

Anna Wintour must be thrilled.
