Nothing left but to give 'em his John Hancock!
We told you before there was an outside shot that Ed Helms would, ahem, helm the new Vacation film(s)!
Now it's a sure thing!!
Remember watching the Griswold family get into one HIGHlarious hijink after another in the original National Lampoon's Vacation with Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo?
In what looks to be half franchise-reboot and half sequel, Ed will play Chevy's son Rusty Griswold who leads a dysFUNctional family of his own!!
Ed and New Line haven't settled on settled on a salary yet but rest assured, shooting starts as soon as he wraps his current season of The Office.
And the guys who wrote Horrible Bosses are directing! Sweeeet!

Aveda has finally come up with a new hair care line.
Invati, which promises to thicken hair by 33%, is made from all natural ingredients — at least 97% of them.
In Sanskrit, the word means invigorate. And that's what Aveda hopes to do for those suffering hair loss.
The formula is powered by the proprietary Densiplex Complex, which is a blend of turmeric and ginseng, believed to have the powers of energization and rehabilitation when massaged into the scalp.
They get their magic potion from Nisarga, an Indian company that organically grows their herbs.

After seeing Tom Cruise dance as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder, we DEFINITELY want to see this!
New Line has offered Cruise a supporting role in a film adaptation of the Broadway play Rock of Ages.
If he takes the part, he'd be playing a singing bartender, who would totally rock out, 80s style!
Do we think he'd be good in a musical? Maybe. Are we extremely curious to see this? Absolutely!
Give it a shot, Tom! You're doing another Mission: Impossible, which is fine, but now it's time to try something new!
Would U like to see Tom Cruise in a musical?

There has been all kinds of set backs with this movie, but for this guy's sake, we hope they work this one out.
Meet Martin Freeman. You probably know him best as Tim from the original U.K. version of The Office. Anywhoos, Martin was approached by New Line and MGM, who are backing the new Hobbit movie, to star as the iconic Bilbo Baggins character. It's an offer no one would want to refuse, considering, as we hear it, it was a seven-figure offer.
But alas, Martin had to decline, as his schedule wouldn't allow it, as he is currently committed to shooting the new BBC series, Sherlock. However, we're hearing that the studio is desperate to nab him and they are working on a new shooting schedule that would be more accommodating for Martin.
A lot of work and money is going in to get this guy. Let's hope it works! We think he would be great!
