Katherine Heigl loves her some doggies! But perhaps no pooch get more love from the actress than her precious puppy Romeo!

Well, we're pretty sure she loves ALL 7 of her dogs equally, but Romeo was picked to be her traveling companion as they were spotted with Katherine's mother Nancy at Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans!

After wrapping up the shooting her latest film North of Hell in Louisiana, the actress and her fellow weary travelers got a plane and headed straight home for some much needed rest and relaxation!

We're sure Katherine's pups were happy she was finally back home, but hopefully there wasn't any jealousy because of all of the special treatment Romeo got!!

Mmmmm foood!!!

Katherine Heigl and musician hubby Josh Kelley have been hanging out in New Orleans lately while Katherine wraps up the filming for a new movie, North Of Hell!

Katherine had a notably concerned look on her face as Josh swept her off to lunch on Friday — maybe she was missing her yellow bikini in the sweltering southern heat, LOLz!!

They met up with a few friends and hopefully found some delicious foodz to fill their belliez.

Sometimes even adults need to lean on their parents.

Following his breakup with Vampire Diaries co-star, Nina Dobrev, and the show’s Season 4 wrap up, Ian Somerhalder headed home to New Orleans for some work and quality time with his family.

The actor was caught taking in the view of the beautiful Louisiana coast with his father Robert Somerhalder and pet dog while surveying a plot of land he bought for development.

It turns out Ian is quite the local businessman, but we’re sure the distraction from his recent heartbreak is more than welcome!

In situations like this, keeping busy really is the best thing!

Tragic news today on such a special day!

In New Orleans, a shooting took place during a Mother's Day parade and allegedly left at least 12 people injured.

No deaths have been reported but the New Orleans police have reported they are searching for three suspects who might have been involved.
