Who needs Vogue when you have the local newspaper?

Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland Baldwin signed with IMG Models in March, and they put her to work right away.

In a strange move, the 17 year old is making her modeling debut in the New York Post, the same paper her dad got into an altercation with earlier this year.

Awks!

But for his daughter, it's all water under the boat bridge. She defended the decision to pose for the Post, stating:

"You know, he has his own agenda and I have my own."

And apparently her agenda includes posing in 40 degree weather wearing nothing more than bikinis.

It's amazing how much she looks like her mom Kim Basinger!

Oh no they didn't!

Republicans and conservative media outlets are raising hell over the devil's Anna Wintour's video for the Obama fundraising dinner she's co-hosting.

The Obama campaign unveiled the ad last Friday, the same day the Department of Labor reported an increase in unemployment, and quicker than Anna could say "don't be late" the Republican National Committee released their own rebuttal video (above)

So far no comment from Obama or La Wintour, but the dinner is still scheduled to go ahead as planned.

Back in August we were delighted to hear that Grace Coddington was working on a memoir, but thanks to co-author Jay Fielden it won't be hitting shelves anytime soon.

Vogue's creative director told the New York Post "It's slow going" because Fielden recently took over as editor in chief at Town & Country.

Bummer.

We're sure it'll be worth the wait.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Loehmann's is in financial trouble and aren't able to make their interest payments on time.

Now, the retailer is blasting the New York Post for publishing the article, claiming it was completely false.

CEO Jerry Politzer said in a statement:

"The premise of today's New York Post story is patently untrue. Loehmann's fulfilled it's financial obligations to it's business partners and specifically, made its debt interest payment on time, as scheduled. We are pleased with our business momentum and our vendors should feel confident doing business with our uniquely, fashion forward off price concept. Our vendor relationships are the lifeblood of our business. In turn, our customers should know that they can count on Loehmann's stores to provide the freshest fashions whenever they shop our stores, at prices 35-65% less than department stores prices."

The Post has since removed the article and issued a retraction.
