James Deen SPEAKS On The Controversial Canyons Article, Being "The Porn Guy," And What REALLY Went Down Between He And Lindsay Lohan!

james-deen-talks-the-canyons-lindsay-lohan-porn

Hold up!

No one can deny that the recent New York Times profile on Lindsay Lohan during the much-discussed, controversial and tumultuous production of her new movie The Canyons, isn't an incredible piece of literary journalism that not only sheds light on the troubled starlet's life during those rare occasions she does not have a paparazzi camera in her face, but draws comparisons between she, director Paul Shrader and writer Bret Easton Ellis as once-prolific Hollywood talent now struggling to re-claim their past success!

However, it should be noted that while co-star James Deen was not always front and center in the article's focus - given the constant crazy surrounding the filming process - he's now speaking out about the entire experience making a movie that isn't porn, how accurate the Times story was, his relationship with LiLo…and if he'll attempt to break into pop culture mainstream!

First Look At Lindsay Lohan's "Emotional" Performance In The Canyons! Watch Here!

WELL, you guys.

Now that Lindsay Lohan's antics on the set of her latest movie, The Canyons, have been more than well-documented, given the shocking - and in some ways, surprisingly humanizing - profile of her and the Paul Schrader-directed production published in The New York Times Magazine, the first footage of the Bret Easton Ellis-penned microbudget noir-thriller has hit the internet!

You know, NOT including all of those RIDICULOUS genre-specific promos, of course!

But given that the troubled starlet's seemingly-long-lost abilities as a dramatic actress were frequently highlighted in the article, we just sincerely hope that THIS isn't what the author was describing in his article!

Ch-ch-check out the scene in which LiLo searches for her missing cell phone and inadvertently sends co-star James Deen into an abusive rage (above)!

Frankly, we never thought we'd say this ever again, but Lindsay is

Andy Samberg Portrays Tennis' Biggest Rivalries

Andy Samberg John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg

LOL!

We LOVE this! Andy Samberg was asked to portray some of tennis' most famous rivalries for a New York Times Magazine and he serves them up with a perfect ace.

The Motherlover was photographed by Walter Iooss Jr., the same man who captured the actual iconic images of rivalries between players John McEnroe, Bjorn Borg, Andre Agassi, Jimmy Connors, and Pete Sampras.

The results are HIGHlariously uncanny! We've got more pics below, but click here for ALL of Samberg's impersonations.

M.I.A. Continues Her War Against The New York Times And Lady GaGa!

wenn2640267__opt-1__opt1.jpg

Here she goes again!

M.I.A. apparently hasn't spouted off enough crazy lately, so she's not only once again going after the recent article done on her in The New York Times Magazine, but is also STILL slamming Lady GaGa!

She says:

"You know for me it was about the fact that I said, 'Fuck The New York Times', quite a few times and it was written about and then in the article it was ignored, when that was what was interesting. So why would they put me on the cover of The New York Times? That question was really interesting to me, she (journalist) didn't really explore it, she just took a cheap shot. For the first time you have the tools to fight back. Imagine if Amy Winehouse and Lindsay Lohan and all these people were able to fight back using the internet, because you can. The New York Times was going to try and discredit my words and my experiences. I think you know what? I might have been a bit impulsive, but I think what we have found [is] a new way to deal with news."

"Lady Gaga is someone who lives completely within [the industry]. That’s what you can get if you say ‘yes.’ I would have those outfits on and my hair would look like that and those are the songs I would sing. Everybody else on my label’s budget would get cut in order for my Grammy performance with Elton John to be banging.”

Okay, bb, we think it's time to let it go!

We all get it, you're soooo nonconformist, fuck the system, blah blah blah!

You're starting to sound like your latest album - a lot of obnoxious, abrasive noise that makes no cohesive sense all together!

New York Times Magazine Posts Correction On M.I.A. Article!

ap100503140970jb.jpg

They must have been feeling the heat!

After days of M.I.A. waging war on New York Times Magazine's Lynn Hirschberg over her piece on the Sri Lankan rapper, the publication has released this statement:

The cover article in The Times Magazine on Sunday profiled the singer and political activist M.I.A. While discussing her efforts to draw attention to the civil war in her home country, Sri Lanka, she was quoted as saying: “I wasn’t trying to be like Bono. He’s not from Africa — I’m from there. I’m tired of pop stars who say, ‘Give peace a chance.’ I’d rather say, ‘Give war a chance.’ The whole point of going to the Grammys was to say, ‘Hey, 50,000 people are gonna die next month, and here’s your opportunity to help.’ And no one did.”

While M.I.A. did make those remarks, she did not make the entire statement at the same point in the interview, or in the order in which it was presented.

The part that begins, “The whole point of going to the Grammys,” up to the end of the quotation, actually came first. The part that begins, “I wasn’t trying to be like Bono,” and ends, “Give war a chance,” came later in the same interview. The article should have made clear that the two quotations came from different parts of the interview.

There you go!

What do U think?? Does the clarification of the article make that much of a difference??
