Derek Jeter & Hannah Davis Are A Hit — But Not A Home Run — At The 2016 Met Gala!

Met Gala 2016: Derek Jeter & Hannah Davis walk the red carpet.

Hannah Davis scored a hit, just not a home run!

On Monday, the model graced the Met Gala arm-in-arm with her famous fiancé Derek Jeter. The gorgeous gal looked good next to the New York Yankees alum, donning this pretty envelope dress from Zuhair Murad.

The 41-year-old's future wife showed off her mile-long legs in the fern-green gown, thanks to that seXXXy slit. While we're liking this look, we're not in love.

Don't get us wrong. We're absolutely enjoying the embroidery and that beautiful belt cinching her waist, but this ensemble isn't one of our favorites.

But we want to know what U think! SOUND OFF in the comments!

NY Yankees Star Alex Rodriguez Retiring From Baseball To Be A Full-Time Dad!

no title

It's the end of the A-Rod era as Alex Rodriguez announced his retirement from the MLB on Wednesday.

The New York Yankees third baseman has been playing pro for two decades, much of that dominating the sport, with a career 3,070 hits and 2,055 RBIs.

But 2017, the final year of his $275 million 10-year contract, will also mark his last at bat. He told ESPN:

"I won't play after next year. I've really enjoyed my time. For me, it is time for me to go home and be dad."

Awww! Lucky kids!

Interesting note for his final season: with 687 career home runs, the 40-year-old needs only 28 to catch Babe Ruth as third all-time home run leader behind only Hank Aaron and Barry Bonds.

Good luck, A-Rod!

The 35-year-old pitcher has long been one of the mainstays for the Yankees' pitching rotation, but as the team enters the playoffs with their first game on Tuesday evening against the Houston Astros, they will have to go ahead without him.

The man, Gregory K. Murrey of Alpharetta, Georgia, was at the MLB game Saturday night sitting in the upper deck, when he stood up to cheer during play and apparently lost his balance and tumbled over the railing to the lower deck below.

Emergency crews immediately got to the scene, where he was given CPR and taken to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead. Homicide investigators arrived later, though they do not believe foul play to be involved.

The Atlanta Braves made a statement about the tragedy, with a spokesman saying to reporters:

New York Yankees Employee Is Fired After Tweeting Sexually Obscene Things To Curt Schilling About His Daughter

People on the internet can be huge bullies, but this is disgusting and uncalled for.

Last week, former MLB pitcher Curt Schilling posted a picture, congratulating his daughter Gabby on signing with Salve Regina University in Newport, RI.

Well, Schilling was met with some seriously obscene crap!

And some of it came from part time New York Yankees employee Sean MacDonald, who has been fired. Yankee's director of communications, Jason Zillo, explained that since being hired in January, the perv had only worked 18 hours over four days, and was promptly let go on Monday:

"We have zero tolerance for anything like this. We've terminated him."

The other culprit was Brookdale Community College student Adam Nagel.

You can see the obscene things they said (above).

Thank goodness Curt highlighted these a**holes in a blog post so that they could be found out.
