Eva Longoria is kickin' it down in New Zealand!

She's helping to launch The Shopping Channel, the country's first home retailer channel.

While driving around, she spotted a funny ad on the back of a bus.

She tweeted a pic (above) and wrote:

Mike Tyson was all set to do a one-off performance of his one man show down in New Zealand.

That is, until they reconsidered granting him a visa.

He was going to put on the show for a charity but that charity withdrew their support of him, so the country reconsidered extending him the visa.

The results from a 20-year study from New Zealand were just released.

It followed 1,000 people, assessing them as children, and then interviewed them repeatedly until they turned 38.

Pop sensation One Direction is currently touring Australia and New Zealand.

While there they visited a zoo and got the chance to cuddle with a cute koala!

But the 3-year-old Koala played a prank on the boys and took a pee right on them!

Normally this would be just a funny, gross inconvenience — until the boys learned that 80% of koalas have chlamydia!!

OMG!

The boys actually stood a chance to contract the disease when the koala peed on them!

Good thing koala chlamydia is different from human chlamydia. Although there's always the chance the koala could have the rare strain that humans can contract.

Lucy Lawless is channeling her Xena days!

The actress and six other environmentalists climbed on top of a 174 foot drilling tower on a drilling ship owned by Shell off the coast of New Zealand.

The protesters hung banners from the drilling derrick reading, “Stop Shell” and "#SaveTheArctic."

Lucy stated that she did the protest for her kiddies and that it was her first active protest against drilling.

She said the following about her act for Greenpeace:

I’ve got three kids. My sole biological reason for being on this planet is to ensure that they can flourish, and they can’t do that in a filthy, degraded environment. We need to stand up while we still can

Way to break the Law, Super Mom!

The ship has ceased operations but Shell is looking for a way to go around the protestors so they can drill in the Artic.

It may be time to SLOW DOWN when you're busy stuffing your face with food. At least if you're a woman.

In a study published in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, researchers found that women who ate faster were more likely to be obese than those who ate slower.

Researchers determined the results after studying 1,600 New Zealand women between the ages of 40 and 50.

Based on a five-step eating speed scale, participant's body mass index rose 2.8% or 4.3 pounds per speed or "step" increase.

This isn't the first study on the matter that suggested the same association between weight gain and eating speed, nor will it be the last. The same research team plans on doing a two-year check up on these women to see if their eating speed is a predictor of how much weight they'll gain in the future.

In the meantime, we don't think it could hurt to take a couple more minutes to enjoy our food!
