Last week, a male stranger snapped a photo of a mother breastfeeding her newborn at at T.G.I. Friday's, shaming her because he felt it was "inappropriate."
After finding the image of herself — taken without her permission — Connor Kendall fought back at the criticism and posted a strongly worded letter to the photographer. And her response has gone viral!
Kendall was breastfeeding her 4-month-old son Carter at a T.G.I. Fridays in Terra Haute, Indiana when the photo was taken. The male stranger posted the image on Facebook asking:
"I went [sic] to know if this is appropriate or inappropriate as I'm trying to eat my Fridays, there are little kids around."
Kendall just happened to be in a local Facebook group for moms, when another member shared the image within the group.
After realizing she was the subject of the photo, the 20-year-old mom sent the photographer a direct message, and posted a lengthy open letter that criticized the man for shaming her, writing:
