BMX legend Dave Mirra apparently committed suicide on Thursday, and now authorities in Greenville, North Carolina where he made his home believe there may be a specific reason the extreme sports star took his life.

The city's mayor, Allen Thomas, noted in a press conference that while authorities are still gathering facts, he fears Mirra may have had chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or as it's better known, CTE.

Fine Brothers Cancel Their Plan To Trademark 'React' Videos Amid MASSIVE YouTube Backlash!

All kinds of YouTube drama, y'all!

You probably know the works of Benny and Rafi Fine — AKA Fine Brothers Entertainment — if you've spent any time on the huge video platform.

The duo created a huge series of React videos about various pop culture and current events topics — including things like Kids React, and React Gaming — and they had in total more than 20 million subscribers on their YouTube channels… until this week.

It all started at the end of last week when the duo announced they were trademarking the "React" theme and license shows to creators.

When news of their announcement came out, the YouTube community LOST IT, arguing that the two brothers didn't invent the reaction format, and thus, didn't deserve to trademark it and then charge the many YouTube channels that do similar videos.

This was a close call.

The NBA's Sacramento Kings were planning on a "Year Of The Monkey" promotion to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Monday night, and it included black t-shirts with a monkey image on them.

Nothing wrong with that — but Monday was also February 1, AKA the first day of Black History Month, a very important and visible month in the NBA.

When the Kings' star forward DeMarcus Cousins got to the arena and saw the shirt last night, he immediately spoke up!

Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez has been sending letters to his pen pals while he serves a life sentence for murder, and one of those letters — from mid-December — has just been released to the public.

According to a report from TMZ, Hernandez — who was writing to a woman named Rachel — openly praised former teammate Tom Brady while BLASTING the owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft.

This guy is all kinds of ridiculous!

An Australian doctor by the name of Samir Chachoua went on Real Time with Bill Maher Friday night, promoting an HIV miracle cure that the doc claims he gave to Charlie Sheen.

The doctor — who is not licensed to practice medicine in the United States BTW — makes some pretty tall claims in the interview.

He says that when he met Sheen, the Two And A Half Men actor was on his death bed due to encephalitis, and just days after the doctor's cure the actor was running around outside and playing with a ball.

Oh, and it's the contents of this supposed "cure" that's the most ridiculous part!

He's seen how we all love emojis in our text messages and on social media sites, so the team at Facebook is building in five new emoji options as part of their expanded 'like' feature!
