The end of a season usually comes with changes, and for the New York Rangers that meant firing their head coach John Tortorella.
The hockey coach had one more year left on his contract, but after losing in the playoffs, he’s found himself on the unemployment line.

Boston has been on lockdown ever since the suspects who allegedly planted the bombs have been on the loose.
But since suspect #1, Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot by police and later died in the hospital after he gunned down a campus cop at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology last night, suspect #2, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is still roaming around and is causing everyone to stay inside.
This manhunt is affecting everyone, and the Boston Bruins are no exception, as they have canceled practice in order to stay safe.
The team tweeted:

After the NHL's awful lockout, we're glad to see that they're focusing on something within the sport that actually matters other than greed: they're joining the You Can Play Project, which mission is the end of homophobia in sports!
Patrick Burke, the son of the former Maple Leafs GM, heads up the project as his brother Brenden Burke was part of the Miami University hockey team when he revealed he was gay. He started the project in Brenden's honor, as he tragically passed away in a car accident shortly after his announcement.
You might remember the original launch of the group, and its mantra (above): if you can play, you can play. Talent should be the only thing that matters!
Here's what Patrick said about the official partnership with the NHL:

If you love Game of Thrones AND ALSO the NHL, we've got a treat for you!
Behold the NHL team house banners, in the style of Game of Thrones! So epic!
We're willing to bet that there will be at least a few of these flying during games really soon! The creator, Mike Obrand, aka HabsLaughs, used a banner generator to create them, and fans and players are going nuts over them!
Next month's playoffs, or the new season of Game of Thrones? You don't have to decide — you can have both!
Ch-ch-check out more awesome posters (below)!!

Eric Stonestreet is a biiiig hockey fan, so he must've been so excited when that pesky lockout finally ended!
He was spotted on his way into the Staples Center to watch the LA Kings duke it out with the Vancouver Canucks.
Just look at that smile on his face! He's so happy that hockey is back.
We bet he's gonna go to every game now.
Though that smile might also be related to his mystery lady friend!
He only plays a gay man on Modern Family, in real life he's "openly straight." LOLz!
Some good hockey, a cute date and more hockey seems to be all Eric needs to be happy!
Lookin' good there, Mr. Stonestreet!
