We can't even being to imagine what this must have been like for them.

As you're surely aware, Paris went through a series of terrorist attacks almost two weeks ago that left 130 people throughout the city dead.

89 of those victims were attending a concert at the Bataclan on Nov. 13 to see the band Eagles of Death Metal perform, and while the members have spoken out about the massacre and the loss of their merchandise manager Nick Alexander, their first full sit-down interview was released on Wednesday.

VICE spoke with co-founder/vocalist Jesse Hughes, bassist Matt McJunkins, guitarist Eden Galindo, drummer Julian Dorio, and sound engineer Shawn London about their terrifying experience, as well as co-founder Joshua Homme who was not at the venue the night of the shootings.

It's an incredibly moving 26-minute piece, and while many would probably see the killings as reason to never play again, EODM stated that they're actually doing the opposite — using the ordeal to provoke positive change in the world.

The band is a Universal artist, and the 34-year-old served as an international producer manager for Mercury Records. UMG CEO Lucian Grainge issued a statement about Thomas' untimely passing, writing:

"At this point, we have confirmed that Thomas Ayad, an international product manager for Mercury Records lost his life in the attack on the theater. This is an unspeakably appalling tragedy. I cannot even begin to express the depth of my sorrow. On behalf of everyone here at UMG, we extend our most profound sympathies to his parents and all of his friends and family. Today is a dark day. We are a family. Let's support one another as we grapple with the weight of this darkness."

Over the weekend, it was also confirmed that the Eagles of Death Metal's merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, was also killed in the horrific incident.

The 36-year-old's family released a statement, saying:

"It is with huge sorrow that we can confirm that our beloved Nick lost his life at the Bataclan last night. Nick was not just our brother, son and uncle; he was everyone's best friend – generous, funny and fiercely loyal. Nick died doing the job he loved and we take great comfort in knowing how much he was cherished by his friends around the world. Thank you for your thoughts and respect for our family at this difficult time. Peace and light."

The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney had worked with Nick in the past, and remembered to Rolling Stone:
