As we told you, former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza collapsed on stage and died during a performance in Studio City, California on Saturday night after a suspected heart attack. He was 51 years old.
While the exact cause of death has yet to be revealed, Menza's rep Robert Bolger tells TMZ that the musician's close ones are finding comfort knowing he passed doing what he loved surrounded by fans.

In fact, the Germany native reportedly began talking about his own death after Motorhead singer Lemmy Kilmister died last year – followed by a string of other influential artists. Nick even often said he wanted to die on stage when his time came.
His family has taken to his Facebook page to express their gratitude for everyone's condolences:

The drummer — who had been with Megadeth between 1989 and 1998 — was performing with his band OHM at the Baked Potato Jazz Club in Studio City when he suddenly collapsed and became lifeless.
According to TMZ, paramedics at the scene were reporting the death as most likely being a heart attack.
