Amanda Bynes Calls Out Fake Imposter Accounts Encouraging Fans To Send Money & Twitter/Instagram For Doing NOTHING About It!

If you thought fake news was a problem, Amanda Bynes wants you to know that fake social media accounts are also an unbeatable epidemic.

The former Nickelodeon star has sent multiple legal letters to Twitter and Instagram demanding they shut down accounts that impersonate the actress and encourage fans to send "Amanda" money!

Tamar Arminak, Amanda's attorney, tells TMZ they've been fighting Twitter for years to shut down the account @persianLA27, which regularly tells its over 24,000 followers that "Amanda" is short on money she needs to buy medications.

The other imposter, @alb4386, recently wrote an Instagram post claiming she's $63 short from buying meds and needs fans to Venmo her more money.

The real Amanda has been telling her followers not to believe the imposters, calling out the fake accounts on her verified account. She's tweeted over the past few years:

Clarissa Explains It All is in the process of being rebooted by the Viacom-owned cable network, and early discussions are already taking place about producing new episodes!!

MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, & More Went Quiet For 17 Minutes Today…

Donald Trump may be too busy trying to blame media once again for mass shootings (anything but guns, right?), but one of the biggest media companies in America is showing its support for the people most affected.

While students around the country were participating in a National Walkout Day to protest the inaction of the government in the wake of school shootings, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET, Paramount Network, CMT, TV Land, and Comedy Central joined in — by shutting off.

At 10 a.m. EST, all of Viacom's channels suspended programming during the 17 minutes of silence remembering those lost in the Parkland shooting one month ago.

During that time, MTV also handed over control of its social media pages to participating students; the network will also cover the March For Our Lives rally on March 24.

Blue's Clues Producers Are Said To Be Seriously Considering A Female Host For The Reboot!

Don't count on the old Steve to return when Blue's Clues reboots after what will have been a 12-year hiatus from TV!

Steve Burns, who originally played young host Steve on the show, and Donovan Patton, who later replaced him for the final few seasons, are unlikely to be asked back to the once great Nickelodeon show when it reboots, and producers are seriously considering replacing their spot with a woman!

Brothers fight even when they don't mean it!

On-screen bros are no exception, as Drake Bell reveals he definitely shouldn't have called out Josh Peck on Twitter after not being invited to his former costar's wedding.

Back in June, Peck tied the knot with Paige O'Brien in front of family, friends, and John Stamos — and social media users could help but notice his Drake & Josh costar was nowhere to be found.

Bell noticed, too, and made his thoughts about being snubbed loud and clear for everyone to see. He tweeted:

"True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I'll miss you brother."

Bell's dramatic tweets were deleted a day after he posted them — and looking back, he realized he probably shouldn't have made his frustrations public to begin with!

In a Facebook Live chat on Saturday, the 31-year-old admitted he was just really hurt by not receiving an invite and hearing about the event on social media.
