No one can touch her and no one should try! She's the best bitch doing it and it's going to stay that way until 2016!

According to the Nielsens ratings, Judge Judy scored its highest ratings in 12 years during May sweeps. The show sky-rocketed 49% in their key demo year-to-year and her audience grew by nearly 3 million viewers per episode, averaging 9 million viewers a day. It clearly outperformed every other show running in syndication, making it the #1 show in first-run syndication in May!

Hell to the yes! People love her sass! Hell, what's not to love?!

Congrats on the great season, JJ! Let's see if you can top yourself next year!

Kate Winslet's Mildred Pierce Off To A Rocky Start

Winslet's Mildred Not Winning In Ratings

Unfortunately for the talented Oscar winner Kate Winslet, just being her and getting some pretty decent reviews hasn't added to the number of people turning out to watch her crack at Mildred Pierce.

HBO miniseries usually garner many more watchers, like John Adams did in 2008.

Sadly, that's not the case for Kate:

Sunday's premiere of the miniseries — based on James M. Cain's 1941 novel about the travails of a Depression-era housewife — delivered just 1.3 million total viewers, according to the Nielsen Co.

We can still be optimistic about it! Maybe it'll gain momentum!

Weirder things have happened!

Hopefully things get better, Kate!

Have U been watching Mildred??

HUGE Ratings For Oxygen's Glee Marathon!

huge-ratings-for-oxygens-glee-marathon

No surprise here! Just another example of the power of Glee!

Saturday's 12-hour Gleekend Marathon on the Oxygen channel reportedly provided the network with its most watched 11am to 11pm time period EVER!

According to Nielsen Media Research, the marathon drew in more than 1 million total viewers during the 4pm airing of Grilled Cheesus, the 8pm airing of The Substitute, and the 10pm episode Special Education!

Not bad at all!

Those Gleeks don't mess around! They must have begun salivating at the mouth when they heard that the show would be on for 12 hours straight!

LOLz!

Thoughts??

America Is Watching More TV Than Ever Before

Filed under: TV NewsMedia MinuteBusiness BlitzGleeReality TV

america watches more tv in 2010 than ever before

Congratulations, America!

According to Nielsen, more Americans watched TV in 2010 than ever before.

Looks like, as a whole, we're watching 34 hours per person per week.

During 2010, we went crazy over Hawaii Five-O, Glee, and Fox News (yes, we watched way more Fox News than CNN or MSNBC).

Aside from all of that, we've also started watching "trash-into-treasure" reality shows, such as Pawn Stars, American Pickers, Auction Kings, Auction Hunters, AND Storage Wars.

Guess we'll see if we watch EVEN more TV in 2011 OR maybe we'll go outside a little more often if we can get the TV cable to reach outside.

How much TV do U watch per week? Less than the average? More?

the talk does very well with women ages 15 to 24

Are you a woman aged 25-54? If so, you're probably watching CBS' The Talk.

According to Nielsen ratings at least. The Talk is up +60% with women 25-54.

The show has dominated its time period in a bunch of locations, including Philadelphia, Miami, and Baltimore, among women 25-54.

Here are some more Talk-related stats:

On the 14 CBS Owned Stations, THE TALK improved among women 25-54 by +60% (0.8 from 0.5) and by +50% in the local people metered markets (0.9 from 0.6).

THE TALK tied veteran time period winner “One Life to Live” among women 18-34.

What do U think of these figures? Have U been contributing to The Talk's impressive numbers?
