UPDATE 7:01 PM EST: Lil Wayne is backtracking on those controversial comments.

On Wednesday, Weezy apologized for his ignorant rant about the Black Lives Matter movement, but had a pretty bizarre excuse for the upsetting tirade.

The songsmith blamed the whole thing on the Nightline reporter, telling TMZ the journalist got him riled up over questions about his daughter:

"When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b*tch and a hoe, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses."

Well, CLEARLY there was no thought put into your responses, Wayne, considering you completely bashed BLM!

But, the artist did tell the outlet he's sorry for the offensive outburst, adding:

"Apologies to anyone who was offended."

Lil Wayne is at it again!

Following Wayne's declaration that racism "doesn't exist" back in September, he took to Nightline Tuesday night to further express his controversial views.

According to the rapper, the Black Lives Matter movement is something he's supposedly not aware of and also doesn't understand. Apparently the mogul doesn't believe the recent rash of police brutality against black Americans is connected to racism AT ALL.

When the interviewer asked the 34-year-old his opinion on the movement, he responded:

Whoops!

Everyone makes mistakes once in a while, but sometimes those boo-boos are bigger than others, and sometimes they're advertised nationally.

That's exactly what happened when Nightline sat down with Bollywood actress and current star of the new show Quantico, Priyanka Chopra.

When playing the intro to her interview, the show aired clips of Priyanka's work. Unfortunately for them, they couldn't quite tell the difference between Chopra and former Bollywood actress and Miss World winner Yukta Mookhey and showed a clip of Mookhey when she won the pageant in 1999.

The Quantico star ALSO won the pageant in 2000, but that's still no excuse.

It was actually one eagle-eyed viewer that caught the moment who tweeted:

Elian-Gonzalez-ABC Exclusive

Everyone grows up eventually!

And 15 years after making headlines, ABC news has caught up with Elian Gonzalez for an exclusive interview talking about his life, the controversy when he was child and what he hopes to do now.

In 1999, Elian — 6-years-old at the time — was found off Florida's coast when the boat he was in with his mother was capsized. After this, Elian went to go live with his uncle in Miami, which caused quite a reaction from Cubans, as they felt he should be returned to his father in Cuba. Thus started a large custody discussion between U.S. and Cuba over where the boy should lawfully live.

In the interview Gonzalez mentions how he'd love to return to the United States, but only as a tourist to do things like attend a baseball game or visit Washington museums and talk to Americans. He goes on to express his gratitude for the American people through the experience he had by saying:
