Game Of Thrones Could Be On Its LAST Full Season! But Just How Short Will Seasons 7 & 8 Be?!

no title

As if waiting an entire year for just ten weeks of content wasn't bad enough…

Game of Thrones is just nine days away from once again becoming the most talked about show on the Internet.

But while HBO could theoretically pull in their greatest numbers ever for the Season Six premiere, showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss already have some bad news about the show's future.

Don't worry — GoT is obviously not getting cancelled or anything, but we are hearing this upcoming season could be the last one to feature a full set of ten episodes!

HBO's entertainment president Michael Lombardo and the showrunners spoke ominously to Entertainment Weekly about Seasons Seven and Eight on Thursday, with David saying:

Game Of Thrones Star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Annoyed By Gods Of Egypt Whitewashing Controversy Because He's 'Not Even Playing An Egyptian'!

Gods of Egypt is one of the worst reviewed films so far this year and it's particularly getting heat for its predominantly white cast.

While Nikolaj Coster-Waldau can't speak for film's reportedly cheesy visual effects or sloppy writing, the Danish actor did defend his casting by revealing he wasn't even playing an Egyptian character!

Speaking to The Red Bulletin, the Game Of Thrones star admitted that the negative attention the epic has been getting for whitewashing is getting on his nerves.

Is Jon Snow Dead Or Not?? See What Jaime Lannister Thinks As Game Of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau Visits Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Just remember before watching that Jaime Lannister is never right.

Get it? Never right? Because he only has a left hand now?? LOLz!

Anyway, the dashing Nikolaj Coster-Waldau stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night to talk all things Game Of Thrones, and he told Jimmy EXACTLY what he thinks about THAT season five ending.

He says, as far as he's concerned, Jon Snow is done for:

"He was stabbed 50 times in the heart. He's dead."

But then, he tempers that statement slightly, admitting he doesn't actually share any scenes with Kit Harington anyway! Watch the whole interview and try to read Ser Jaime's poker face (below)!

New Game Of Thrones Season Six Pics Reveal The Fate Of Several Characters! Check Them Out!

no title

Season six of Game Of Thrones is only a few months away!

And HBO is getting fans ready by releasing a flood of character posters featuring all of our favorite faces from Westeros!

Sure, we see a roughed up Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), an intimate Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), and a plotting Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon)– but some of the photos give away the fates of other characters!

While THAT character isn't featured in the series of pictures, we do see Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Theon Greyjoy/Reek (Alfie Allen) survived the drop in the Season five finale and that Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is still blind.

After being poisoned in the finale, Myrcella Baratheon (Nell Tiger Free) is confirmed dead — as we see Jaime and Tommen Lannister (Dean-Charles Chapman) looking somber over her body.

We also get a first look at the new Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow) with Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) — who looks like he's standing in the photo!

Ch-ch-check out all the pics (below) to get reaquainted with the High Sparrow, Yara Greyjoy, that hardcore nun who yelled "shame" in the finale, and many, many more!

Gods of Egypt Is All CGI And No Egyptian Actors — Watch The Ridiculous First Trailer HERE!

We still can't believe this is a movie!

After Gods of Egypt released their character posters — which showed off Gerard Butler, Game Of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Chadwick Boseman, Daredevil's Elodie Yung, and The Giver's Brenton Thwaites – we couldn't believe our eyes.

Not because it looked incredible, but because it looked like a ridiculous over the top video game!

Well now we have the trailer (above) and it's SO filled with CGI and caucasian people playing Egyptians that it might as well be the love child of Exodus: Gods and Kings and Clash of the Titans!

We Promise, The First Photos Of Gerard Butler & Game Of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau In Gods Of Egypt Are For A Real Movie!

no title

You know how Game Of Thrones takes a fantasy setting and brings it down to earth with all the grit and muck of real medieval life?

This is kind of the opposite of that.

GoT's Nikolaj Coster-Waldau — along with Gerard Butler, Chadwick Boseman, Daredevil's Elodie Yung, and The Giver's Brenton Thwaites (above) — are featured on their own character posters for next year's sci-fi epic Gods Of Egypt, and wow.

Just wow.

Gods tells the story of a mortal thief in ancient Egypt who must enlist the help of powerful gods to fight other powerful gods. Everyone has super powers.

To say the looks are colorful doesn't do their fabulosity justice. We're pretty sure they're the only movie posters that are also blacklight.

They actually remind us of another recent science fiction film Jupiter Ascending — let's hope they don't have the same splash at the box office!

Gods Of Egypt opens February 26, 2016.
