Today, just hours before the high court's deadline, Hugh Grant filed claim against News Corp for allegedly hacking his phone.

The Rupert Murdoch owned media conglomerate already settled up with a slew of other celebrities, including Sienna Miller and Steve Coogan, who claimed News of the World investigators hacked their phones and stole sensitive and confidential information.

Hugh is already a very vocal privacy advocate and was recently named director of Hacked Off, a non-profit company campaigning for press reform.

And even if takes nine months to settle, the British acting legend VOWED

Okay, so maybe only Donald Trump has got Richard Hatch's back, but that's a pret-ty powerful ally to have on your side!

Former Survivor winner/Celebrity Apprentice contestant Richard Hatch has turned himself in for a nine-month jail sentence today, which he'll serve as a result of unfiled/unpaid taxes…unless Donald can work his Trump magic, that is.

Here's what The Donald had to say about his desire to help out Hatch:

"It sounds like a very tough predicament. I may ask him if there's anything I can do… I may get involved and ask him what the hell is going on."

"He wasn't loved on set because it's a competition but I will say he was respected. [Helping Hatch is] something I'd think about. He's been a great character on the show."

"If he makes it to the finals – and I'm not saying he is – I'm sure we can get him time off for good behavior."

Wow! After all this time, looks like Richard Hatch MIGHT get out of jail early AND might get his debt paid off.

Way to give positive reinforcement for negative behavior, Donald!

What's this guy's thought process? We just don't understand!

Back in January, original Survivor winner Richard Hatch was back in court for violating terms of his probation and STILL failing to re-file/pay his 2000 and 2001 tax returns, which included taxes on his $1 million prize.

Hatch has already spent over three years in jail, and now he'll be returning to jail for nine months because his taxes remain unpaid.

The Survivor loser winner's sentence is scheduled to start on Monday. Hatch says he'll appeal, but we can't imagine what grounds he'd appeal on.

Why don't you just figure out a way to pay those taxes, Richard!?!?!? Aren't you tired of jail already?

SO ridiculous!
