While some stars refuse to partake, plastic surgery still seems to dominate the faces and bodies of Hollywood.

One of reality's most famous mothers, Kris Jenner, is no different and opted to go under the knife for a mini facelift, as well as some work around her neck and eyes, in honor of her daughter's upcoming wedding.

In video footage that can be seen online, the Kardashian matriarch breaks down in TEARS before being prepped for surgery. Luckily, her supportive children — Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, and Rob — are by her side to assure her everything will be okay!

"Don't cry, you're going to be fine," Kim promised her visibly upset mom.

All this should make for a must-see upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians!

Now we know how Kris manages to remain one of Hollywood's hottest cougars! Does the rest of her famous family make appointments for occasional nip/tuck too?

According to new reports, the number of cosmetic surgery operations dropped by 18% last year!!

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery claims that 1.9 million operations took place in 2009, which is a pretty significant drop from the 2.1 million in 2005!!

According to Dr. Elliot Jacobs, the recession is to blame:

"I believe one can credit the downturn of the economy for the decline in surgical procedures that obviously are more costly than non-surgical procedures."

However, other doctors think that the era of excessive surgery and procedures, glamorized by the now-defunct series Nip/Tuck, is just not fashionable anymore!

Dr. Michael Hall claims:

"When it comes to plastic surgery, people are now using more common sense. They don't want radical procedures. Women are looking for non-invasive procedures. There is no lack of vanity. There is just a little more hesitation."
