Whoops! Noise complaint!

U2 was fined by the city of Barcelona this week for playing "too long and too loudly" during their 360º concert rehearsals last year. Apparently, the band went two hours over schedule with their playing and offended the delicate nature of the citizens living nearby.

Uh-huh. A bit late, don't you think? Where was the complaint when the noise was going on?

Regardless, U2 paid up to the sound of $22,000 and promised never to disrupt the peace and civility of Barcelona again. It should be noted that the concert took place at a soccer stadium, which as we all well know is the sanctuary for those who wish to be tranquil and demure.

Ugh! Stoopid!

Lame! People should be allowed to let loose sometimes and not have to worry about getting into trouble!

Madonna was slammed with a noise violation after the staff of her London townhouse threw a karaoke party and pissed off her sour puss neighbors!

The incident, which was on a Sunday afternoon in June, happened while the singer wasn't even there, but was apparently loud enough to have the Westminster council notified.

Noise officers issued an official noise abatement notice and any further complaints could lead to a fine!

A spokesman says:

“In order to deal with the matter, a notice was served by posting it through the box at the premises. The notice was addressed to the owner or occupier at the address ordering that the noise is stopped — which it was. Any further offence could see Madonna landed with a £5,000 fine.”

WTF? That much money because people were singing a little bit on a Sunday afternoon?!

It wasn't even at night when people are trying to sleep!

We think it's time to relocate, bb! Find some less douchey neighbors!
