Retired General Norman Schwarzkopf passed away in Tampa Thursday at the age of 78.
Known as "Stormin' Norman" Schwarzkopf commanded the U.S. forces that helped free Kuwait of Saddam Hussein's occupation during the Gulf War in the early 1990s.
Norman survived combat in Vietnam, and the war in the Middle East but tragically couldn't win his battle with prostate cancer.
Our hearts go out to General Schwarzkopf's family!
He was an American hero, and that is how history will remember him!
