During the meeting, 9-year-old Zianna stood behind the podium, emotionally addressing racism and police shootings before the council, saying:

"I came here today to talk about how I feel, and I feel like we are treated differently than other people. And, I don't like how we're treated just because of our color. Doesn't mean anything to me."

The little girl began to break down, and exclaimed, with tears streaming down her face:

"We are black people and we shouldn't have to feel like this. We shouldn't have to protest because y'all are treating us wrong. We do this because we need to, and have rights."

Through her tears, the inspiring youngster composed herself, and continued:

**WARNING: Graphic Details/Video Ahead**

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department probably thought it would help their argument to release body camera footage from the fatal shooting of Keith Lamont Scott, but it actually proved an officer violated policy.

Over the weekend, CMPD released video from one dashboard camera and one body camera from the controversial killing.

In the body cam clip, we silently see an officer standing outside Keith's white SUV with his gun drawn. Then, the officer wearing the camera appears to be hitting the truck with his baton.

We see Mr. Scott getting out of his car as the body cam cop runs across the street — with his own weapon drawn — to take cover behind a white pickup truck.

The fatal shots are fired off-camera, and the audio doesn't turn on until the footage shows the 43-year-old already on the ground.

But, as The Washington Post revealed, the officer didn't officially activate the camera until AFTER the father was shot. Steve Tuttle, a spokesman for Taser (the company who made the department's tech), explained how the equipment works, saying:

Ciara and Russell Wilson

Way to take a stand, Ciara and Russell Wilson!

As you know, the adorable love birds tied the knot last month in a magical ceremony at Peckforton Castle located just outside of Liverpool — but it turns out these weren't the original plans for the big day!

Speaking to The Knot, celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss opened up about organizing the special occasion for CiCi and Russ not once, but three times.

Turns out, the 30-year-old songstress was initially supposed to say "I do" to her man in North Carolina — the state where he played baseball and football in college — but ultimately the duo decided to change venues because of the state's controversial bathroom bill.

The State Bureau of Investigation says the State Highway Patrol officer tried to pull over the man's Volvo on I-485 for speeding.

However, the car didn't pull over for the trooper, resulting in a brief pursuit.

The Highway Patrol told Channel 9 that the chase continued onto the Rocky River Road off-ramp, where the officers intentionally bumped Daniel's vehicle to get him to pull over.

When the chase ended on Seven Oaks Drive — the street where Mr. Harris lived — neighbor Mark Barringer described to WCNC how both cars were damaged:

So scary!!

Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, North Carolina has been placed on a lockdown after witnesses on scene told police they heard "five to six" gun shots fired there earlier on Saturday afternoon.

According to local news reports out of Raleigh, multiple eyewitnesses said that someone began firing shots at 2:30 p.m. local time at the mall.

As to be expected, those inside — and out — are scared and shaken, to say the least, though as far as we currently know, no suspects have yet been arrested and nobody has yet been reported wounded or killed inside the mall.

Nevertheless, Raleigh police officers have shut down the area, and those in the parking lot and elsewhere around the mall have taken to social media to report on what's going on.

That is including one woman (below) who confirmed her family was locked in a store closet for more than an hour, but remained safe:
