Donald Trump

If Donald Trump's mission was the scare the shit out of everyone, he has finally succeeded at something.

On Tuesday, POTUS gave his speech at the annual U.N. General Assembly during which he addressed the "great peril" the world faces from "rogue regimes" like North Korea and Iran. Fair.

Donald Trump Inches Us Closer To Nuclear War With A Bizarre Early Morning 'Rocket Man' Tweet Stream

Even after a relatively tame week for Donald Trump and his administration — well, at least compared to the typical shit show week in this White House — the President still manages to make himself look like a fool after too many "normal" days in a row.

The President logged on to Twitter early this morning and was feeling particularly feisty, opting to go after Kim Jong Un and the North Korean regime with a VERY colorful new nickname that will almost certainly continue to inflame tensions in that part of the world…

The statement went on to say that they are allegedly capable of attaching that type of bomb to a missile that is capable of reaching the mainland United States.

Whether or not — or to what degree — any of that may be true, we do know something big happened in North Korea overnight. And now, Donald Trump has reacted.

First North Korea, now Venezuela??

On Friday, Donald Trump told reporters he may pursue a "military option" in Venezuela due to their current political crisis.

On July 31, the United States sanctioned Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro after the country illegitimately elected a new legislative body run by his Socialist Party loyalists. In the past four months of civil unrest, hundreds have been killed and thousands have been arrested.

The President said:

"The people are suffering and they are dying. We have many options for Venezuela including a possible military option if necessary."

When pressed further, the businessman declined to give any more details.

"We don't talk about it but a military operation - a military option - is certainly something that we could pursue."

Almost immediately, Twitter erupted with reactions. See the best ones (below):

Stop trying to make war with North Korea happen, Donald Trump.

The impetuous POTUS has been instigating a conflict with the country ever since he got into office. Now, he's locked in some sort of nuclear pissing contest with ruler Kim Jong Un — and millions of lives could be fatally pissed on.

A week after Trump encouraged the U.N. to increase economic sanctions against North Korea, Trump used some Game of Thrones-style rhetoric to threaten the country with "fire and fury like the world has never seen."

This prompted Pyongyang to hit back with detailed plans on a missile strike against the U.S. territory Guam, accusing America of being "the mastermind of nuclear threat, the heinous nuclear war fanatic" in a media report.

Well, Trump didn't prove otherwise on Friday, as he hurled another threat saying the U.S. military was "locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely." He tweeted:

Visiting an old friend.

Dennis Rodman has become an unlikely diplomat between the U.S. and North Korea in recent years, thanks to his confusing bromance with supreme leader Kim Jong-Un.

While the former NBA star's travels to the authoritarian state have triggered much criticism in the past, his most recent trip is actually getting some positive attention on Twitter.

Why? Because hours after the ex-athlete landed in Pyongyang, detained U.S. student Otto Warmbier was released from North Korean jail!

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson announced on Tuesday that the American college student — who was serving a 15-year prison term with hard labor for alleged anti-state acts — had been medically evacuated from North Korea in a coma.
