Remember last month when the pesky paparazzo, Paul Raef — who trailed Justin Bieber down the 101 Freeway — officially got charged???

Raef’s four charges fell under California’s brand new “Paparazzi Law,” with him being the very first person ever charged…and he’s not too happy about it!

Now, the photog is planning on pleading NOT guilty in court, defending his actions by comparing them to that of a news reporter racing to the scene of a breaking story!

Um…we’re not quite sure this is the same thing, Paul!!

Lane Garrison, the former Prison Break actor charged for domestic violence this past spring, has finally been released from jail!

He spent over 2 months behind bars after being arrested on April 22 for allegedly slapping his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly, and said it "feels amazing" to be free on his $50,000 bail.

On his way out, he told sources that he couldn't comment on the case. After maintaining his innocence and swearing he doesn't believe in domestic violence , he said:

It's official.

A grand jury has ruled against charging the unidentified young Texas father who beat to death a man who was molesting his 5-year-old daughter.

Here's what the district attorney said:

"Under the law, deadly force is justified to stop a sexual assault. … All the evidence indicated that is what was occurring,"

A harrowing 911 call from the father after he beat the man to death for molesting his daughter was played for the grand jury.

Here's what the father said during that 911 call:

"I need an ambulance. This guy was raping my daughter and I beat him up and I don't know what to do. This guy is fixing to die on me man, and I don't know what to do."

The identification of the sexual predator was released yesterday. Jesus Flores was spotted by witnesses dragging the little girl into a secluded area before the father intervened. The unidentified father was never arrested, but the killing was investigated as a homicide.

The father's lawyer said her client was:

"A peaceable soul and he had no intention to kill anyone on that day."

We hope that this resolution is able to allow the father and his daughter to find closure in this incredibly distressing series of events.

Congrats, John Edwards! You're off the hook …for now!!

Having been accused of soliciting almost a million from financial backers to help cover up his affair (and the baby that came with it) during his 2008 run for the White House, a jury reached a verdict today after nine days of deliberations!

On count three of accepting illegal campaign contributions from heiress Rachel 'Bunny' Mellon, the former presidential candidate has been found NOT GUILTY!

On the five other counts? The judge has declared mistrials on all of 'em!

It's not clear whether or not prosecutors will fight for a retrial, but one thing's for sure — he's a lucky, lucky man!

G. Dep loves making music as much as he loves wasting New York City tax payers' dollars.

The rapper behind the 2001 hit Special Delivery went to a police station in December of 2010 and confessed to the 1993 murder of 32-year-old John Henkel.

He revealed to the cops that he shot the man three times while trying to mug him. To back up his story, he was able to recall key details in the investigation such as the location of the murder and caliber of the gun he used.

Can't say we're entirely surprised that he pleaded 'Not Guilty!' 3-5 years in jail is a LOOONG time!

Earlier this month, we learned that Jersey Shore's Jonathan "The Unit" Manfre had been indicted for 3rd degree felony possession of horse tranquilizer drug Ketamine back in July.

Now, we're hearing that The Unit has pleaded 'Not Guilty' to the felony charge.
