The NRA Is Fighting For A Stalker's Right To Buy Guns! 'Great Idea,' Said No One Ever!

nra stalker gun rights

No, NRA. Just no.

Understandably, there exists legislation that prohibits the sale of firearms to those of convicted of stalking, or domestic abuse within a dating relationship!

This makes complete sense. The fewer criminals get guns, the better, no?

Not according to the NRA.

In a recently obtained NRA letter that was delivered to two different Senators' offices, the Association plans to fight the bill from last year in question, stating that

Senate Rejects Gun Bill: Hollywood Stars Furiously Respond

obama biden nra gun bill

Seriously… does 90% really mean nothing to them??

After the overwhelming masses supported a modest gun bill to ensure stricter background checks for the purchase of firearms, the Senate cowered and DENIED the bill.

Blasted for their fear of the NRA, every single one of those Senators who voted 'no' has been called out for their "cowardice" by Gabby Giffords and countless others.

When President Obama said it was a shameful day in Washington, he wasn't kidding!

Everyone — well, 90% of everyone in America — is FURIOUS right now.

Check out how the stars are responding …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Gabby Giffords BLASTS The Senators Who Voted Against Gun Bill; Calls Them All Cowards!

obama gabby giffords nra gun bill

President Obama called it a shameful day in Washington when the Senate voted against a modest gun bill that would increase the level of background checks needed to purchase firearms.

Even though 90% of the American people supported it, the Senate DENIED the bill that could prevent future acts of horror and massacres. They DENIED 90% of the nation they work for!!!

And needless to say, survivor Gabby Giffords is none too pleased about it either!

In a brutally honest piece she wrote into the New York Times, she calls the "cowards" out:

President Obama Angrily Declares This A 'Shameful Day In Washington' After Senate Denies Gun Bill!

Filed under: Legal MattersPolitikBarack ObamaGun Show

president obama angry speech guns background check legislation failed us senate nra

Whoa! Our Commander-in-Chief is PISSED!

President Barack Obama spoke to the nation from the White House Rose Garden just minutes ago, but there was nothing rosy about his words or demeanor!

The U.S. Senate rejected gun legislation this afternoon that 90% of the American people supported and the Prez is FUMING mad!!!

The Manchin-Toomey bill was a modest proposal to amp up background checks at gun shows and on the internet, but the vote failed 54-46.

In what was very far from a concession speech, Mr. Obama assured his country that he would continue fighting against the wreckless sale of firearms and that this miscarriage of democracy should not be forgotten by the voters come Congressional re-election time!

Unafraid to point fingers, he says the gun lobby "willfully lied" to the American people and he shamed

Charlie Sheen Weighs In On Gun Violence With Piers Morgan, Admits He's Given Up All His Weapons

When Charlie Sheen thinks you're cuckoo, it's time to look in the mirror!

The Anger Management star and noted warlock joins Piers Morgan tonight on, oddly enough, Piers Morgan Tonight and discusses everything from Lance Armstrong's legacy of lies to the heated debate on assault weapons.

Ch-ch-check out the promo for tonight's episode (above), where Charlie admits he once collected guns and shot at targets in his basement!

Police forced him to forfeit the weapons after his "domestic," but the actor says he barely misses them.

He also dares the money-hungry NRA lobbyists to look a Sandy Hook victim's parents in the eye and explain to them precisely why people should have access to the deadly assault rifles that killed their child.

Hmm, maybe we've had too much tiger blood for breakfast, but he makes several good points!

Charlie Sheen for Congress?? ….Nah.

We applaud Piers for continuing to focus on this epidemic of violence as we continue to extend our well-wishes to all those affected.

NRA Attacks Barack Obama Through His Kids!

You'd think that as much time as the National Rifle Association spends firing guns, they'd at least be accurate!

But their new ad really misses the mark, going after President Barack Obama through his children!

The ad suggests states that the POTUS is a hypocrite for promoting more gun control while Sasha and Malia are protected by armed guards at their school.

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to hear the line of thought for yourself.

It sounds like a valid argument on the surface, but the truth is, it's a false equivalency.

As high priority targets, the First Family NEEDS security detail! Not only to protect against national security threats who might want to use them as leverage, but also against domestic threats.

Like, say, gun owners being oversaturated with images of their president as a dangerous dictator.

The truth is simple math- fewer guns in the hands of unstable people means fewer gun deaths at the hands of unstable people.

And if the NRA would just listen to reason, they wouldn't have to try to create their own!

Piers Morgan Vows To Deport Himself If Americans Don't Wise Up On Gun Reform

Filed under: TV NewsPolitikSad SadPiers Morgan

piers morgan self deportation gun reform

Once again, newsman Piers Morgan offers up as much common sense on gun control as his audiences care to feast on.

Not only is the British journalist unafraid of the circulating petition gun lobbyists are backing to evict him from these United States, but the anchor is considering departing on his own terms.

In summary of a long and thoughtful letter to an English newspaper, he wrote:
