"Chia seeds have been getting a lot of press lately….and for good reason! They are the perfect way to pack powerful nutrients into your child's diet without them even knowing they are eating a health food!
Chia seeds are virtually tasteless and can be added to soups, salads, smoothies, veggie dips, and yogurt. They are loaded with protein, fiber, and antioxidants, which are important to help you child stay well as we go into cold and flu season. Chia seeds are also a good source of bone-building calcium, fluid-balancing potassium, and magnesium. How much chia should you eat per day? Try adding about 1-2 tablespoons to your meals."
