Oats have tons of nutritional benefits, but Margaux J. Rathbun recommends sticking to the natural stuff and avoiding the processed and sugary instant stuff, writing:

Oats are a great food for giving you a long-lasting boost of energy, promoting heart health, and stabilizing blood sugar levels . They are loaded with nutrients including maganese, vitamin B1, selenium, fiber, and phosporus. When selecting an oatmeal, always look for steel-cut or old-fashioned oatmeal. Avoid the instant oatmeal and flavored oatmeal because they have been processed and are typically loaded with sugars and preservatives.

Simon Cowell Wants To Be Frozen!

Simon Cowell frozen

Simon Cowell is one of the most successful television producers and personalities of all time and doesn't plan on giving up that title anytime soon!

In fact, he plans to be around for another 300 years or so. During his interview for September's GQ issue, the X Factor creator shared he plans on freezing his body when he dies!

"It's an insurance policy. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. If it does work, I'll be happy. If it's possible, and I think it will be, why not have a second crack? Does that sound crazy? I think it's a good idea."

When questioned if that was an "act of ultimate vanity", he simply replied:

"I have a feeling that if I don't do it now, I could regret this in 300 years' time."

It's no surprise because as the rest of the interview proves, Simon is a man who knows what he wants. For example, he's eaten the same breakfast IMMEDIATELY after waking up every day for the last 5 years! The men's magazine described it as:

"Hot water with lemon. Then papaya juice with lime. Then oatmeal. Then tea. Then three different smoothies—a spinach smoothie, an antioxidant smoothie, and a super smoothie with seven fruits."

Simon maintains his repetitious meal never gets old because it "tastes delicious and looks great", adding:

"I love to wake up in a good mood and look forward to what's coming. As soon as that tray is put in front of me, I can't wait to have it. I like looking forward to things."

We hope he's not as enthusiastic about having his body frozen because we expect plenty more big things from this guy in the future!
