While most of
's Samsung commercials are mostly just long, putting the ZZZ in Jay-Z, and don't really reveal much of his upcoming album, Jay-Z Magna Carta Holy Grail, the ad entitled Oceans gives a pretty inneresting insight into Jay-Z's creative process.
Ch-ch-check it out above!
The commercial deals with the inspiration for his upcoming single
Oceans, which he collaborated on with (you guessed it) the Little Mermaid . In the room with artists Frank Ocean Rick Rubin, Swizz Beats, , and Timbaland , Jay-Z said the following:

World Bank has launched a new partnership to try and raise an astounding $1.5 BILLION for the world's oceans.
They aim to double marine protected areas and rebuild fish stocks.
The world's oceans are overfished, heavily polluted and increasingly warming.
None of these are good for the earth, climate change or any of earth's inhabitants. (That means people too).
World Bank's president said

Jimmy Buffett decided to catch some waves and some sun and took his paddle boat for a ride!
The singer took a trip to St. Barths and enjoyed the French waves and caught the whole thing on tape.
He even had a wipeout but managed to pick himself up and paddle on again!
Looks like someone drank from the Fountain of Youth!

If you haven't seen
The End of the Line, you are missing out on a powerful documentary that really brings to light the devastating impact the fishing industry has had on the world's oceans.
Because of it's inspired and courageous take on the dire situation, the film has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious PUMA Creative Impact Award.
A true honor!
In case you haven't seen it, check out the trailer for the film (above). Two years worth of work really paid off!

This sounds like a line in a sci-fi movie.
However, it is somewhat true. As the acidity of the world's
oceans rises, it kills off predators. This allows jellyfish to thrive!
This acidity is due to the overlooked effect of burning fossil fuels. Higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere doesn’t just trigger climate change but can make the oceans more acid.
It turns out, lucky for them, jellyfish are immune to the effects of acidification. This allows them to survive while many other creatures are not.
Yikes! This is kind of creepy!!
