Here it comes, folks — the next wave of justice to come out of the awful Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal that rocked Penn State is on the horizon!
The three Penn State officials that are trying to say that Mike McQueary didn't sufficiently report seeing Sandusky having sex with an underage boy in the school locker room, which led to them assuming it was just 'horse play' (YEAH RIGHT), have been ordered by the judge to stand trial!
Prosecutors did their job and totally showed enough evidence during the preliminary hearing — the one where McQueary said that Joe Paterno admitted that the school handled the scandal incorrectly — to warrant a trial for ex-President Graham Spanier, former vice president Gary Schultz and ex-athletic director Tim Curley!
If you cover up molestation like this, you're damn close to being just as bad as Sandusky… and to add insult to injury, they allegedly did it all for the sake of a sport! AWFUL.
According to prosecution, the men engaged in a 'conspiracy of silence.' Not only did they not tell the police about Sandusky ruining children's lives, but then they covered up how they failed to tell police about the accusations — EVEN AFTER police investigated complaints about Sandusky showering with boys back in 1998!
The key testimony centered on emails among the three defendants discussing the 1998 and 2001 cases and McQueary's testimony.
Spanier said this during a statement at the hearing:
