Lucy Lawless really is a warrior princess when someone threatens the environment.
In an effort to protest Arctic oil exploration, the Xena actress boarded an oil-drilling ship docked in New Zealand last February and spent FOUR days on top of a 174-foot drilling tower.
The 44-year-old actress and five other Greenpeace activists were eventually removed and
Lucy yelled, "Ayiyiyiyiyiyiyiyi!" the entire way down are now facing the consequences of their actions.
Lawless pleaded guilty to a trespassing charge and faces up to 3 years in prison, but she doesn't really seem to care too much. On her way out of the court room, she told sources:

We love her commitment!!
We told you that Lucy Lawless was protesting on a drilling ship owned by Shell off the coast of New Zealand for Greenpeace earlier this week.
But now, the actress, along with five other environmental activists, have been arrested after they were perched on top a 174-foot drilling tower on the Noble Discoverer.
She is currently in custody, but police have yet to determine what her charges will be.
During the protest, she told reporters:
"I've got three kids. My sole biological reason for being on this planet is to ensure that they can flourish, and they can't do that in a filthy, degraded environment. We need to stand up while we still can."
We admire your tenacity, gurlfrand! You are most definitely a warrior princess!
