Ryan Lochte is losing sponsors and getting a lot of heat after he lied about being robbed at gunpoint while in Rio de Janeiro.

But one of the swimmer's Olympics teammates insists he's not a bad guy, even though the athlete didn't come clean right away.

On Monday, Conor Dwyer sat down with Maria Menounos during her SiriusXM radio show to address his fellow sports star's scandal.

When the E! host brought up the controversy, the 27-year-old maintained that the New York native is still a good person, in spite of everything that happened, saying:

"I've known him for a long time. I've trained with him, been teammates with him, and he's genuinely a good guy. So, it hurts to see him in this position and make a mistake like that."

But, that doesn't necessarily mean the Illinois athlete condones Mr. Lochte's attempted coverup, because he added:

Ryan Lochte Loses Last Two Major Sponsors Following Rio Olympics Scandal!

More bad news for Ryan Lochte.

Ryan Lochte's brand has taken a huge hit since his Rio Olympics scandal!

The swimmer received a lot of backlash for "exaggerating" a story of being robbed at gunpoint during this year's games, leaving him with two less sponsors.

Now, the number has doubled.

Following Speedo and Ralph Lauren's lead, both Airweave, a Japanese mattress company, and Gentle Hair Removal have decided to drop the disgraced Olympian.

Despite the CEO of Airweave, Motokuni Takaoka, previously saying they would stand by the 32-year-old, in a statement made on Monday the brand announced:

Ryan Lochte is drowning in his own regret in light of his recent actions.

The Olympic swimmer has lost all of his sponsorships following the Rio robbery scandal, and is starting to no longer feel like the gold-medal winning American hero he was last week.

An inside source told E! News that Lochte is "not doing well" amid the international controversy that painted him as a partying, vandalizing, entitled liar — and forced him to endure a rather intense scolding from Matt Lauer (and no one wants to deal with that).

Joanna Jozwik, a middle distance runner from Poland, is controversially claiming that it feels as though she won the silver medal in the women's 800 meter finals at the Olympics because she was the "second white" to finish the race.

Speaking to Eurosport after the race, Jozwik didn't hold back in her discussion of the race itself — as well as a controversial issue that was surrounding it, too.

Jozwik spoke about South Africa's Caster Semenya, Burundi's second-placed Francine Niyonsaba and Kenya's bronze medalist Margaret Wambui who all finished ahead of her and the fourth place finisher, Canadian Melissa Bishop (below):
