Dave Matthews Band has pledged ONE MILLION DOLLARS to regional Hurricane Sandy relief efforts!

The band has decided to turn their November 30th winter tour opener in East Rutherford, NJ into a benefit concert! All proceeds from the show will go toward helping the storm-ravaged area!

Ah-mazing! Beyond ah-mazing!! Quadruple ah-mazing!!!!

We ADORE artists who give back to the their fans, especially in times of need!!

And we sincerely hope other other community leaders follow suit!

Hopefully the band isn't being generous out of guilt, we doubt Sandy hummed Crash Into Me as she crashed into Manhattan and the Jersey coastline.

Seafood Solutions, a Torrance, California-based seafood company, has been fined one million dollars for falsely labeling frozen catfish fillets as grouper.

The company was fined $700,000 and ordered to donate $300,000 to the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.

They were convicted of trafficking in fish known to be transported and sold in violation of the U.S. Lacey Act.

Back in January, we heard that Orlando Bloom was reportedly getting paid $1 million to return as Legolas in The Hobbit for less than two minutes!

That salary still hasn't been confirmed, but whatever he's getting paid, it's looking more and more like Orly will in fact appear in The Hobbit.

Seriously?

We'd think that he'd want to just let this one go!

Charlie Sheen has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Capri Anderson, the hooker he terrorized during his coke-fueled meltdown in the Plaza Hotel last month, because he claims that she tried to extort him for $1 million!

According the legal documents, if Anderson did not receive "at least one million dollars," she threatened to get the actor's probation violated in Aspen, where he's coming up on the year anniversary of assaulting his soon-to-be ex-wife, Brooke Mueller!

The suit goes on to allege:

"At no time did Sheen assault, batter or threaten Walsh."

It further claims that Anderson told third parties and the NYPD that Sheen acted "like a total gentleman" and that the extortion attempt is "to embarrass him and attempt to damage his career by going to the media with her false tale."

Okay…wait a second. We're confused?

So all those reports of the coke-fueled meltdown and locking this girl in the bathroom are just fabricated, and Charlie Sheen was only daintily snorting cocaine and acting like the refined man that he naturally is while he searched for the wallet that he was too fucked up to realize he never had to begin with?

Whatever. The legal system continues to let this guy go for whatever bizarre reason, so we're sure this situation will be no different.
