Ryan Gosling landed a role in the Muay Thai movie, Only God Forgives as an Englishman named Julien, who lives in Bangkok.

And while he's already spent about three months in Thailand training with professionals for his flick, he has the whole martial arts thing down pat.

The movie is being produced by Nicolas Winding-Refn, and considering that the actor has worked with him before in the film, Drive, he's ecstatic about his new role.

Since training with top notch fighters, Gosling has become a great brawler, but he revealed that it would be "cheesy if [he] just started kicking everyone's ass," he added:
