But ever since his involvement in the London 2012 Olympic Games, he is expected to bank a whole bunch of money!

Even though some folks weren't too pleased that NBC decided to withhold the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony in London so they could air it for US primetime Friday night, it certainly paid off…and broke some RECORDS in the process!
That's right, 40.7 MILLION VIEWERS tuned in to watch the Danny Boyle-directed spectacle, marking it the MOST-WATCHED Summer Games opening EVER, and also the MOST-WATCHED NON-U.S. Olympics opener ever!
In fact, the only ceremony it falls behind was that of the 2002 Salt Like City Winter games!
Not too shabby!
And with the AH-MAZINGness that was the James Bond/Queen Elizabeth sketch, we honestly can't say we're too surprised!
If you haven't yet seen this, watch (above)!
And check out the full list of average Olympic viewers on record…AFTER THE JUMP!

After 6 Grammy awards and 2 BRITs this year, Adele's music BETTER be featured in the Symphony of British Music at the London Olympics closing ceremony this summer!
Who better to represent the talent that the UK produces than Adele, right? We're happy to report that Stephen Daldry, the executive producer of both the opening and closing ceremonies, and music director David Arnold totally agree with us!
They have revealed that

First we heard Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Sir Mick Jagger, and John Lydon from the Sex Pistols were teaming up to perform at the 2012 London Olympic games, which was exciting enough, but this just keeps getting better and better!
Academy Award winning director Danny Boyle is serving as the ceremony's artistic director and revealed that the show has been inspired by William Shakespeare's The Tempest!
Boyle described the show's narrative as the recovery of land that has been poisoned by industrial legacy. The ceremony will commence with the ringing of a specially commissioned bell inscribed with a line from The Tempest: "Be not afeard; the isle is full of noises."
The "Isle of Wonders" themed live production on July 27th will last longer than 3 hours and also features the creative talents of director Stephen Daldry.
This is shaping up to be a pretty extravagant start to the Olympic games! Are U excited or what?

Sir Paul McCartney is set to headline the London 2012 Olympic Games' opening ceremony and we couldn't be more thrilled!
Organizers had hoped "to have the cream of British music all in the line-up", but after The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin took themselves out of the running, sources say "Paul will be joined on stage by some younger stars."
That's pretty cool! It will be nice to see some of Britain's biggest music stars of tomorrow joined by one of the biggest music stars of…EVER!
Maybe playing alongside the music icon at the largest sporting event in the world will help launch the next biggest British sensation since the Beatles themselves!
