Lana Del Rey Cries Diamond Tears In Orchestral Young And Beautiful Video!

We've come to expect interesting things from the glamourpuss that is Lana Del Rey

And we're glad to say that the music video for her very pretty yet strikingly somber Great Gatsby tune Young And Beautiful does not disappoint!

Admire the rouge-lipped Lana and her diamond tears (above).

We are definitely digging these deceptively simple visuals, and clever editing almost makes it feel like the video is throbbing!

Plus, the orchestral feature keeps with her "old hollywood" mixed with 1960s Nancy Sinatra aesthetic .

In fact, it kind of reminds us of an adult version of Disney's Fantasia, you know, if you were to take out the cartoons and just watch the in between bits, LOLz.

Haunting, effective, not over produced… love it!

WATCH Gotye's 'YouTube Orchestra' Of Somebody That I Used To Know

ZOMG!

This is, like, the best cover of Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know that we've ever heard!

You know why?

Because it's a YouTube mashup of pretty much EVERY good cover that has hit the web since the song first hit our ears!

You know why else?

Because Gotye himself created this!

That's right! He not only listens to all the wonderful covers of his song, but he appreciates them so much that he combined them to make an even more wonderful cover.

He wants to give credit where credit is due too! Click here to watch all of his fans' individual videos that went into the "YouTube Orchestra."

Mr. Schu Preps Solo Album!

wenn5483470jb1.jpg

Smart move, Mr. Schu! Strike while the iron is hot!

While Glee goes on hiatus for the summer, that scoundrel Matthew Morrison is ca$hing in on the success of his hit series and recording his first solo album!

He reveals:

"I'm writing all the music for it. It's me and a big orchestra behind me."

He also goes on to describe the album as "dance heavy," and a cross between Michael Buble and Justin Timberlake.

Hmmm.

We're not entirely sure those two aesthetics go together - and just because you sing well doesn't mean you're a good writer, bb! But we shall certainly see, won't we?

Frankly, as long as he's not rapping on this shiz, we'll be satisfied! Ugh, they've done enough of that on the show for a lifetime!

LOLz!

Thoughts??
