If you haven't seen the original Twin Peaks, we have to break up! We're sorry, but that's the way it is! Don't make a scene!

LOLz!

Twin Peaks is one of the BEST shows, regardless of having been canceled just two seasons into the series… which was a cray decision! We mean, why wouldn't the network want to keep a David Lynch show around?? It's too delightfully weird not to, even if it wasn't getting the best ratings!

In a new issue of Sci-Fi Now magazine, Mark Frost (the co-creator) says the show

Bryan Singer Is Rebooting The Twilight Zone For CBS!!

bryan singer twilight zone reboot cbs tv news

With Fringe wrapping up, The X-Files scraping the bottom of the movie barrel, and the OG Twilight Zone being memorized by everyone through re-runs, this news is FANTASTIC.

And we think Bryan Singer is the right person to do it: The Twilight Zone is getting the reboot treatment on CBS!

We know, we know. You're tired of the rebooting, there aren't original ideas in Hollywood, etc. Well, at least they're rebooting a fantastic idea, even if it isn't very original.

Who wouldn't want new Twilight Zone episodes?

The only problem we see here is that it's landing on CBS, which isn't really the place to get modern programming. CBS was the home of the original show, but that was way back when. Letzzz be honest! Also, they don't have a writer for the pilot, and there's no real word if Singer will direct it after serving as developer and executive producer.

Oh, and we can't forget that it's been rebooted a few times already. The first was on CBS and ran from 1985-1989, with the most recent series reboot, hosted by Forest Whitaker (weird - LOLz!!), premiered on UPN in 2002 and lasted one season.

On a side note, just mentioning The X-Files makes us want to at least get a prequel treatment — a young Fox Mulder anyone??

J.R. Ewing Getting A Funeral Episode On Dallas

larry hagman dallas jr ewing death sad cancer passed away funeral episode

Like many others, we were extremely saddened to hear that Larry Hagman had passed away.

He was definitely a fan favorite on the original Dallas and had just reprised that role in the new series.

He worked right up to when he died from cancer complications, and we're hearing now that there will be a funeral episode added to the 15 episode season.

It hasn't been filmed or scheduled as of yet, but it will be a part of the second season that starts on January 28th.

RIP, Larry — you will be missed, and we hope the show will honor you in a way you'd think fit.
