Frank Underwood is going to be pissed—and he's already got Stamper on it.

House of Cards may be forced to end it's shooting in Maryland thanks to *drumroll* politics!

Kind of ironic, since the show centers around drama in the capitol, no?? LOLz!

The beautiful production location is in some serious jeopardy because legislators failed to reach a last-minute compromise Monday that would have increased funding for movie and TV tax incentives to $18 million—$15 million of which would be going directly to HOC.

In layman's terms, the bill (which provides cash for TV/film that shoots instate) passed.

But then, House and Senate members were unable to agree on

R.I.P. The Hard Times Of RJ Berger!

Tough break!

The first of MTV's original, scripted series - The Hard Times of RJ Berger - has been canceled after two seasons!

Although debuting in seasons one and two to high numbers, the series, which focused on a well-endowed high school student, lost a huge amount of viewership steadily until dropping below one million by its season finale in May.

But hey! At least you got the network to stop airing so much crap reality!

And you also lasted longer than the abysmal Skins!

That's something! Ha!

Netflix To Feature Their Own Original Series!

netflix to feature original series

Uh oh, Amazon Prime & Redbox and maybe even cable networks! Looks like Netflix means business.

Netflix has just outbid HBO and AMC for House of Cards, an original series directed by The Social Network's David Fincher, which will star Kevin Spacey, and is being executive produced by the duo.

Negotiations are still underway, but it appears that Netflix will be the exclusive home for the 26-episode season, which will cost the company over $100 million.

The show was written by former Conservative Party chief of staff Michael Dobbs, and it's a political thriller which is "set at the end of Margaret Thatcher's tenure as prime minister and follows a British politician with his eye on the top job."

This is quite a move for Netflix! And given the fact that The Social Network's David Fincher is attached to the project, we could see where A LOT of people will want to check out the show.

Should be inneresting to see how this affects their business.

Would you be more inclined to sign up for Netflix with the addition of original series'?

jesse metcalfe vs alex russell

Last week, we learned that Desperate Housewives' Josh Henderson would be joining the cast of the new Dallas, along with several actors from the original series.

Now, it looks like another Desperate Housewives actor, Jesse Metcalfe, is up for a major role in the new TNT reboot series.

Metcalfe and up-and-coming actor Alex Russell are finalists for the role of Bobby and Pam Ewing's adopted son Christopher in Dallas.

So far, actors attached to the show include Josh Henderson as J.R.'s son, Larry Hagman as J.R., Step By Step's Patrick Duffy as Bobby, Linda Gray as Sue Ellen, and Jordana Brewster as Elena.

As we mentioned before, the original show was a drama series about the Ewings, a mega-rich oil family dealing with greed and love and all of that entertaining shizz! The show was also known for its major cliff-hangers!

Who would U like to see as Christopher in the new Dallas?
