Orlando Shooter's Wife Arrested For Connection To Mass Murder!

America experienced its worst mass shooting in history when a gunman murdered 49 people at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida in June of 2016. Unfortunately, the wheels of justice can move very slowly.

That's because SEVEN MONTHS after Omar Mateen was shot dead after murdering nearly 50 LGBT people and allies, the FBI finally took a huge step in the case on Monday… by arresting his wife, Noor Mateen!

Noor had been a suspect in the case from the very start when police began believing she was lying about her familiarity with her husband's plans — she drove him to the nightclub multiple times before the attack and admitted to helping him purchase ammo, though she said she did not know his intentions.

According to reports, the 29-year-old security guard's wife was taken into custody outside of her San Francisco home early Monday morning — although, it's currently unclear exactly what charges she's being held on.

Multiple sources suggest it has something to do with obstruction of justice.

We'll continue to update you as the investigation unfolds… but we're just glad the victims' families and friends are finally going to get more answers.

As you surely remember, the LGBT community lost 49 of its members when a gunman opened fire on Pulse Nightclub back in June — marking the worst mass murder in modern American history.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump's surprise ascension to the White House on Tuesday was just another setback for queer Americans… but we're happy to say there's still some good in the world.

That's because it was also announced on Tuesday that the city of Orlando is planning on buying Pulse and turning it into a permanent LGBT and Latinx memorial!

Mayor Buddy Dyer revealed the Florida city's $2.25 million plan via video earlier this week, saying:

How terrifying.

According to The New York Post, there has been a ton of frightening threats made against New York gay clubs and universities following the Orlando shooting this past weekend.

While some people might think that violence dies down after a tragedy like a mass shooting, this is simply not the case. In fact, menacing threats tend to INCREASE after a horrific crime.

A member of the NYPD explained:

"Whenever things like this happen, we get a lot more calls."

Disgusting. There are too many misguided and disgusting people out there.

To make matters particuarly scary, the president of New York University received an email from a person who claimed that an Orlando style attack was just around the corner for American universities and colleges. The author claimed the plot was in retaliation for the killing of a Taliban leader back in May.

In addition to the horrific threat, someone called gay venue Monster Bar and declared:
