This is just all sorts of wrong!
High school principal Karlton Johnson at Blanche Ely High School in Pompano Beach, Florida, threatened to suspend two female students for holding hands while in school.
However, no similar threats are said to have been made against hetero students who hold hands.
The principal spotted the two girls and warned them to stop holding hands or he would suspend them both. He then took them to his office and notified their parents.
While one girl was already out to her family, the other was not.
The ladies, part of an interracial couple, are said to be a junior and senior, with good grades and one is an honor student.
One of the girls reveals:
“We were walking to class when he rolled up on his golf cart and said, ‘Didn’t I tell you two to stop doing do that?’ and then he took us to his office. He gave us a speech and then separated us before calling our parents, which was wrong. My mother already knew but my friend’s mom didn’t know she is into girls.”
The girls complained to school officials but to make it even worse, the school district has cleared Johnson of any wrong doing!
So awful!!!!
