Outraged Penn State Students Topple News Truck After Joe Pa Gets Fired

What do you get when a bunch of angry and (presumably) drunk Penn State students have a little get together in honor of Joe Paterno?

DESTRUCTION!

Armored police dispersed 2,000 students who gathered in the streets of Not-So-Happy Valley after they learned that their beloved Joe Pa had been fired.

Before police were able to control the situation, the angry mob managed to join hands in peaceful protest topple a news truck and pelt a photographer with rocks!

Very classy!

Check out the student's reaction (above) to the University's decision to relieve the football coach of his duties following the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal.

Religious Leaders Continue To Speak Out Against GaGa's Judas Video WITHOUT Seeing It First!

Filed under: Music MinuteSad SadLady GaGa

The uninformed hate continues!

Over the last couple of weeks, there's been outrage over the music video for GaGa's new song Judas (above), and it hasn't even been released yet!

Now, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights Bill Donohue has spoken out against Judas once again:

"This is a stunt…Lady Gaga tries to continue to shock Catholics and Christians in general: she dresses as a nun… she swallows the rosary. She has now morphed into a caricature of herself."

Thanks for the input, Bill.

As we said before, why don't you wait till the video comes out before going against GaGa like this? As of right now, all this hate is seriously unfounded.

Have U formed an opinion about GaGa's Judas music video yet? Or will U wait till it's released before doing so?

Rutgers Parents Are NOT Happy About Snooki's Lecture Appearance At The School

Filed under: Icky Icky PooSnookiThe SituationJwoww

rutgers parents pissed about snooki appearance

Last week, we learned that Rutgers University paid Jersey Shore's Snooki $2,000 MORE than Nobel/Pulitzer Prize-winner Toni Morrison to appear at the school.

Now, Rutgers is getting some serious backlash from parents for inviting the hard partying, Jersey Shore star to talk at their institution.

Here's what Rutgers parent Nester Delgado had to say about it:

"It's disgusting. Next year, is it going to be J-WOWW or The Situation?"

More from parent Christine Getz:

"I don't think she's a good representation of a role model for my kids."

But why are they so mad, you might ask? Here's some of the advice that Snook gave students during her appearance:

"When you're tan, you feel better about yourself"

"Study hard, but party harder."

And here's what Rutgers University Programming Association's president Ana Castillo had to say about it:

"We're trying to provide different kinds of experiences to students."

Hmm…we could understand why Rutgers parents are upset, but Snooki DID write a book! That's gotta count for something, right?

…Right???

Do U think Rutgers made a mistake by paying Snooki to appear at their institution?

Lies! Was RiRi's Outrage Over S&M Censorship A Publicity Stunt?!

rihannas-team-censored-s-and-m-for-british-radio-airplay

Uh-oh! Someone has been caught lie-telling!

Rihanna recently expressed her dismay via Twitter with BBC's Radio 1 for toning down the content in her new track, S&M, to the extent that even the title was changed to Come On!

However, according to the radio station, it was the singer's OWN TEAM and her label, Def Jam, that changed the lyrics and distributed the 'radio-friendly' version!

Is that so? Sounds like somebody wanted a publicity stunt!

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Radion 1 has revealed that the original version of the track WILL still be played, but only during later hours of the day!

They explain:

‘During daytime hours, as younger audiences are listening, we are playing the radio edit which is called Come On. However, we will continue to play the original track in specialist shows with an appropriate introduction. It is common practice to play radio edits of certain tracks in daytime.’

We STILL can't really understand what the big deal is with this song!

A lot WORSE has gotten airplay without being censored!

Ugh. Whatever!

Thoughts??

The Bronx Verses American Idol

One episode down and they've already started a scandal.

Last night, Fox premiered American Idol's first episode of the tenth season. The talk this morning should have been about how well Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez did as judges or the weirdos that showed up and in some cases made it through to Hollywood (Star Tittiays girl from Jersey, we're talking to you!)

But alas, all of this is getting overshadowed, at least in The Bronx, as people are outraged by the portrayal their beloved borough got through the eyes of contestant Travis Orlando. Travis shared his life story about living in shelters and being surrounded by violence in the Bronx. Borough President Ruben Diaz wasn't too happy about this and sent out a statement blasting the show for showcasing his city as they did. Here's what Mr. Diaz had to say:

“I am thoroughly disgusted with the treatment of the Bronx on last night’s American Idol. Rather than focus on the amazing revitalization the Bronx has seen over the past three decades, the producers of the show chose instead to highlight the negative stereotypes that have plagued our borough for years. The Bronx is the proud home of 1.4 million people, and over the past 30 years we have seen a dramatic drop in crime, incredible new business activity and the development of amazing new infrastructure. The portrayal of the Bronx by the producers of American Idol in such an extremely negative light is not only shameful, it does not accurately represent how far the Bronx has come.

For those who want to learn the truth about the vibrant neighborhoods, world-class cuisine, burgeoning eonomy and amazing amenities the Bronx has to offer, I invite them to visit the official website of the Bronx Tourism Council, www.ilovethebronx.com,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr."

We've attached the video from last night (above) so you can see for yourselves what The Bronx is so up in arms about. We're thinking they may have been overreacting a bit. The person who's actually saying that the Bronx is infected with drugs and violence is the 16-year-old who's living there now. Are you trying to tell us he doesn't know his own neighborhood? Are you saying the footage taken is not of the shelter he had to live in? You're gonna tell us that Jenny from the Block, who grew up in the south side of the Bronx, would let the show say something that isn't true? C'mon!

What do U think?
