What a compassionate - and smart - move!
Simon Cowell obviously isn't as harsh and uncaring as he likes to pretend, and is taking extreme lengths to ensure that his Britain's Got Talent contestants have the proper resources available to help them cope with the immediate fame and pressure that come with the reality competition!
Contestants will now have 24 hour access to a team of psychologists if they feel overwhelmed!
A source says:
'Susan Boyle proved to be TV gold but, ultimately, Simon is more concerned about welfare of the contestants than their background story. All sorts of people have auditioned for this series and none come from showbiz backgrounds. Simon's put-downs are legendary and sometimes people take them to heart and get upset. Being ridiculed in front of millions of people is not much fun. Simon wants to make responsible television and, this time around, is taking no chances.'
We think it's probably a good idea to have professionals on hand for all of his shows, including American Idol! Some of those contestants are TEENAGERS!
What do U think?? Do U think Simon's doing the right thing?
