Britney Spears, Katy Perry, & Cee-Lo Green Write Letter Of Condemnation To Santa Claus Pandora

Pandora Letter Britney Spears Cee Lo Green Katy Perry Exorbitant Rates

If Katy Cat and Brit-Brit have anything to say about it, Pandora Radio's holiday stocking would be filled with nothing but coal!

The internet radio station complained to Congress about the royalties it pays for music, arguing they are too high when compared to rates given to broadcast radio. They're lobbying for the passage of a Radio Fairness Act which presumably would do exactly what the name implies.

Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Cee-Lo Green, Maroon 5, Ne-Yo, and other artists who don't want their pockets pinched by Congress is objecting to the company's claims!

In an open letter to Pandora, the artists

Tia And Her Adorable Baby Visit Parenting Mag!

Filed under: Baby BlabberTipsPregnancy TalkTia Mowry

It looks like Tia Mowry's 7-month-old son Cree is ready for his first big boy job at a magazine!

Earlier this month, Tia brought her little guy to the Parenting mag offices where she sat down and talked about pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.

The new mom described the pain she went through during her pregnancy (something all mommas can relate to!) - this is what she had to say about making the decision to get an epidural and vaginal birth vs. C-sections:

"I was scared half to death because I had a C-section. Just the thought of someone cutting into me freaked me out! However, I had an amazing doctor, Dr. Kumeitz, who has the sweetest, most calming spirit. I also had an amazing epidural. The shot hurt worse than the actual birthing process, so I was in luck! What really made it special was that the doctor and room allowed me to play some music. I don’t usually listen to classical music but I did during my birthing experience. Pandora has an amazing list of songs. Even the doctors enjoyed the music!"

GREAT tip, Tia! Pandora during birth can be a really awesome to help relax women during the birthing process. Good call, gurl.

And to see another pic of Tia and that adorable little bebeh of her, check it out below!

new details on avatar animal kingdom attraction

This just in! Sigourney Weaver has signed a five year contract to personally entertain theme-park goers in the new Avatar world! JK!

Okay, so Sigourney may not be involved yet, but James Cameron visited Disney's Animal Kingdom last week (above), and he had the following to say about moving forward with an Avatar EXPERIENCE:

J.K. Rowling Pays Tribute To Hagrid In Her Garden

jk rowling pays tribute to hagrid in her garden

How eccentric sweet!

J.K. Rowling has announced that she plans to build a "lodge" in her back garden, which will resemble the one that housed Hagrid in her Harry Potter series.

The lodge will be similar to Rubeus Hagrid's dwelling in that is will also include a chimney, conical roof, and similarly-styled steps leading up to the entrance.

Maybe J.K. will start a trend with this move! We'll keep an eye out for a shire in Peter Jackson's backyard…and a mock-up of the planet Pandora on James Cameron's estate. It's probs big enough! Ha!

What do U think of J.K.'s decision to build Hagrid's house in her garden? What fictional dwelling would U like to build in your backyard?

Pirates Love Avatar!!!

pirates love avatar

Looks like pirates have set their sights on Pandora!

James Cameron's Avatar has been named 2010's most popular illegal download, with over 16 million BitTorrent downloads alone!

Avatar has received 51 percent more BitTorrent downloads than last year's #1 illegal download, Star Trek.

Other films on the unfortunate Top 10 List include Kick-Ass, Inception, Shutter Island, Iron Man 2, Clash of the Titans, Green Zone, Sherlock Holmes, The Hurt Locker, and Salt.

Don't worry too much, James! We're sure plenty of folks will still pick up Avatar on Blu-Ray & DVD to stuff those stockings!

Now, get going on that Avatar 2 script, bb!

Hobbit Update…And Then Second Breakfast Hobbit Update!

We've got all types of Hobbit updates for you today!

Get comfortable with your breakfast, or second breakfast, or your elevenses, and get ready for Hobbit news mania!

For those of you who want to immerse yourselves in Middle Earth, much like how Avatar immersed us in Pandora, you'll be pleased to know that The Hobbit will officially be released in 3D!

If only they could somehow incorporate three dimensions of Orlando Bloom into the movie…we'd start waiting on line in front of the theater now…even though the project is still awaiting the official greenlight.

In other Hobbit-related news, Ian McKellan is ready to sign on as Gandalf. As soon as he's given the papers from Peter Jackson, he's totally on board.

McKellan believes that The Hobbit will get the greenlight soon.

Here's what he had to say about it:

“It’s still a matter of MGM and Warner Bros. sorting things out, but I’m told they’re close.”

We're def excited for Ian McKellan to get attached to the movie AND we're thinking this one could work well in 3D, assuming they do it right and they don't half-ass it like Clash Of The Titans.

What do U think about all this Hobbit-related news?
