That's NOT what's going to happen, though! The voices out there about proper education, equipment, and care won't be silenced — and they're getting louder! Former players are even calling attention to the forming of a "brain-injury panel" a few years ago. They're calling it a sham.

Despite controversy, tension, and SUPER awkward auditions, Kelly Clarkson — the ORIGINAL American Idol — has given two Grammy-winning thumbs UP to the additions of Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban as the new American Idol judges!

The soon-to-be wife recently dished:

"The show needed to be freshened up a bit… I'm a huge Mariah Carey fan. If I had seen her as one of the judges when I was trying out, that would have been so cool."

Whoop whoop!

Hmm, we wonder if Mariah would have given Kelly an initial, Hollywood "YES"?!

It's nice to hear SOME positive feedback concerning the new judges, as other former American Idol contestants — like Jennifer Hudson for example — haven't been as kind!

But whatever you may think about Nicki and Mariah's onscreen "banter," you can't deny it's intriguing to watch!

After a shaky first season of hosting X Factor, it might not come as a surprise that Khloe Kardashian’s job is on the line!

According to the New York Post, Khloe has NOT been asked back on the show, although her co-host Mario Lopez has.

Khloe, who joined the show having no TV hosting experience, was oftentimes made out to look like an amature next to seasoned Extra and ABDC host Mario!

And, while a large portion of her fans kept up with her on the show, it sounds like the dolls’ love just might not be enough.

As for Simon Cowell, he’s left with having to recast the show once again, with Britney Spears and L.A. Reid officially done with the series!

While no talent decisions have been made yet, word is that Simon might even ask Cheryl Cole to come back on the show to judge!

Wonder what the show will look like for season three!

At this point, it's anybody's guess, but auditions kick off soon!

Sounds like Simon Cowell might have some added competition on the X Factor this year!

With L.A. Reid and Britney Spears both gone from the show, there’s still two seats that once again, need to be filled!

So, just who could potentially be up for a spot on the panel?? None other than Ne-Yo!

At the Grammys on Sunday, the R&B crooner confirmed that he’d been in talks right now to join the show, but that “nothing is set in stone” just yet!

Reportedly, talks had started to take place back in January and we think he’d make a solid judge on the reality show!

After all, he did serve as a guest mentor alongside Nicole Scherzinger, during this past season of the X Factor UK’s judges’ houses round!

He also has his own record label, Compound Entertainment, where he’s starting to sign on new talent like R&B/pop newcomer, RaVaughn!

We're pretty sure the Grammy-winner could make the cut — he's definitely qualified, if anything!
