Spooky Scary! The Preview For Paranormal Activity 3 Has Arrived!

Holy shiz! It's been a long time since preview has given us this kind of chills!

Check out the just-released trailer for the upcoming Paranormal Activity 3, which continues to shed some light on the origins of the malevolent entity that scared us silly the past two Halloweens (above)!

We really have to hand it to the filmmakers - they've managed to take a very isolated and simple story and really expand upon it in some truly innovative and very creative ways!

Especially HERE! Incorporating an urban legend that we know WE partook in at that age?!

We're going to have NIGHTMARES! Ahh!

Cannot WAIT for this!

What do U think?? Are U looking forward to Paranormal Activity 3?

Spooky, Scary, Fishy! Catfish Directors Sign On For Paranormal Activity 3

catfish directors sign on to paranormal activity 3

Looks like part 3 of the Paranormal franchise is shaping up nicely!

Back in January, we heard that Disturbia writer Christopher B. Landon was signed on to write Paranormal Activity 3…BUT then he contacted us and said that nothing was confirmed yet.

Now it looks like Landon has been officially attached to write the script, and the film has also signed on Catfish's Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman to direct.

According to reports, the story for PA 3 revolves around "a family being terrorized by the entity from the first two movies in the 1980s."

As we said in January, let's hope that this movie is written with the same care as the first two, and then kept as a trilogy. It would be a shame to see this franchise jump the proverbial shark, like the Saw series.

Are U excited for Paranormal Activity 3? Do U think the Catfish guys are right for the project?

Disturbia Writer Signs On For Paranormal Activity 3!

Wow, they're not wasting any time popping these out, are they?

Paranormal Activity 3 has been well in the works since the stellar release of its predecessor this past October, but we're hearing now that the third installment will be written by Disturbia writer Christopher B. Landon, alongside the sequel's screenwriter, Michael R. Perry!

Inneresting!

We LOVED the way the second one expanded upon the original, but we hope this one is written with the same care as the other two - and then is left as a trilogy!

We don't want this to become the next Saw series!

Thoughts? Are U excited for Paranormal Activity 3??

UPDATE: Looks like things aren't fully confirmed yet. Writer Landon reveals to PerezHilton.com:

"I have not officially signed on to write this film. I am a credited writer on Paranormal Activity 2 and that is most likely the root of this rumor. I had a great time working with all the talented people that made part 2 such a huge success but we are still figuring things out."
