Paris Attacks: Eagles Of Death Metal's Drummer Speaks Out — Wants Band To 'Finish That Concert'

The Eagles of Death Metal will never forget the show they were playing at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris that was cut short when terrorists shot 89 people dead earlier this month.

Julian Dorio, the drummer for the rock band, says he is "counting down the days" until they can return to the Paris arena and finish the concert.

On Tuesday, the band member took to Instagram to pay tribute to the victims who lost their lives in the devastating attacks, including the band's merchandise manager, Nick Alexander.

U2's tour is back on track!

After the tragic terror attacks in Paris earlier this month, the Irish rock band cancelled their performances scheduled for the following weekend.

Instead, the Beautiful Day chart-toppers paid tribute to the victims lost at the memorial outside the Bataclan theater.

But the show must go on — U2 has rescheduled their Paris shows on the iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE tour for December 6 and 7 at the Accorhotels Arena in Bercy!

An American man named Matthew was one of the survivors who escaped terrorists at at the Eagles of Death Metal show the night of the Paris attacks.

But that wasn't the first time Matthew evaded tragedy — in 2001, he also survived the 9/11 attacks at the World Trade Center in New York.

The 36-year-old was shot in the leg by attackers in the Bataclan, but pretended to be dead and dragged himself to safety as they reloaded their weapons.

He told French newspaper Le Monde he was able to get himself outside the building:

Celine Dion Performs A Moving Tribute To Paris At The 2015 AMAs — See The Performance Along With Jared Leto's Emotional Introduction HERE!

The American Music Awards went international for few moments on Sunday night.

Jared Leto took a moment to say a few words about the Bataclan theater and to mourn the loss of friends in the horrible terrorist attacks there.

This is so heartbreaking.

The Eagles of Death Metal — the band that was performing at the Bataclan on the night terrorists attacked the theater and other areas of Paris, killing well over 100 people — is speaking out for the very first time about their experience in the tragedy.

The group is speaking with Shane Smith from VICE News, in an interview that will premiere next week. We've got a snippet of the interview early, though, and it is so sad.
