David Hogg may have survived the Parkland massacre, but he'll likely never escape the crosshairs of his conservative critics.

Specifically, critics like gun-lover Ted Nugent, who continued his assault on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School senior on WABC's Curtis + Cosby show Monday.

Piggybacking off his tirade that the Parkland teenagers have "no soul," the former rocker and current NRA board member is now insisting that Hogg, one of the prominent teens advocating for gun reform, has tragically been "brainwashed."

Enough thoughts and prayers — these teens are ready to take action!

Waves of high school students across the country marched out of class on Wednesday to demand stricter gun laws in hopes of putting an end to school massacres once and for all.

This unprecedented National Walkout Day, which kicked off at 10 a.m. EST and will continue across the states at 10 a.m. local time, was sparked by the Parkland, Florida school shooting and fueled by the fire and fury of its articulate survivors.

Video: Jake Paul Weighs In On… Gun Control!?

The protest was initially supposed to be 17 minutes of silence — one minute for each of the victims gunned down in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Valentine's Day massacre — but students are opting to stay out of class for much longer to rally for change.

These teens are so undeterred, even the threat of being suspended won't stop them from hitting the pavement to call on Congress to pass stricter, "common sense" gun control laws.

Let's hope they don't get bored anytime soon, because they still have a long fight ahead of them against the NRA-butt-sniffing GOP.

Ch-ch-check out some of the powerful reactions, images, and clips from #StudentsStandUp (below)!

Gun reform has been a trending topic ever since the wake of the Parkland school shooting, a tragedy that brought a handful of its telegenic teen survivors to the forefront of the media.

As this movement gains momentum, there are ripple effects that the more cynical observers have to endure for the sake of the expanding conversation — like, for example, Jake Paul going from a douche-bro YouTube prankster to douche-bro gun control activist.

The vlogger, best known for annoying his neighbors to the point of a civil lawsuit, decided to tackle the serious subject of school shootings in a new, Barbara Walters exclusive-style video.

Sure, we'd expect a young man of his caliber to claim he would have run in unarmed to save the students, or pitch the idea of arming teachers (nope, that's just our dumbass president!), but instead, Paul actually went down to Florida to speak with the Parkland survivors, local officials, and even Senator Marco Rubio.

While the 21-year-old didn't exactly bring the fire to his interviews — his hardest hitting question to Rubio was,

Dick's Sporting Goods Announces It Will No Longer Sell Assault-Style Rifles — See Their Direct Message To Politicians!

Yes, sadly, progress in America is major retailers finally deciding to no longer sell assault-style weapons to its customers.

On Wednesday, Dick's Sporting Goods announced it was immediately ending sales of all assault-style rifles in its stores. The retailer will also no longer sell high-capacity magazines and will not sell a gun to anyone under 21 years of age, regardless of local laws.

The decision was made in direct response to the Parkland school shooting as they revealed the shooter bought a gun (not the one used in the massacre) from a Dick's store in November.

Unlike other corporations that have stopped selling rifles in the past, Dick's is penetrating the national gun debate — calling on elected officials to enact "common sense gun reform" by passing laws to raise the minimum age of purchase to 21.

Don't hold out hope for a blowout sale either — Dick's will remove all AR-15s and other semi-automatic rifles from its stores and websites.
