Katy Perry took our breath away at the Hammer Gala on Saturday!

The Part of Me songstress took the stage in a glittering confection of fabulousness aka an Elie Saab gown as she serenaded the audience with her sugary sweet pop songs.

As much as we love our Kandy Kween's crazy costumes, the occasional showstopping gown is always welcome.

This is a far cry from her popcorn dress at the El Lay premiere!

Katy Perry dazzled the red carpet at the Australian premiere of her movie Part of Me wearing a shockingly gold Versace dress that was covered in sparkly crucifixes.

Was this a possible nod to her Christian upbringing? Hmm, maybe.

Or it could just be her way of thanking Jesus for her incredible career.

Nevertheless, she looked fantastic with her purple hair swept to one side and flawless make up. Way to keep Australia begging for more, Katy!

Just like the fairy princess that she is, a makeup-less Katy Perry gives us a behind-the-scenes look at her magical costumes from her Part of Me 3D tour and movie.

We get glimpses of her dressed in a shiny leotard, and also as a cupcake and a peacock, which makes sense considering in this clip, she says, "I feel a connection to fairytales."

Katy Perry was in full on gladiator mode during her performance at the Kids' Choice Awards tonight.

Katy hit the stage in a light blue mini dress with an embellished corset, leggings accented with metal knee pads and plenty of gladiator-esque body armor.

Fierce!
