Shopping your sorrows away has always been in, right?
Well now, Lucky magazine is going public with the idea with it's new #FillTheVoid ad campaign that is part of their new e-commerce platform, MyLucky.
This is the first time in 12 years that the magazine has urged consumers to take care of their problems by going on a shopping spree, and it's something else.
The sad phrases read:
"My boyfriend has a boyfriend. Fill the void."
"My longest relationship is with my doorman. Fill the Void"
"My intern is the only one following me on Twitter. Fill the void."
"My 5-day cleanse is only on day 2. Fill the void."
Partners & Spade is responsible for this campaign theme, which is set to debut on the mag's website August 17.
Don't be afraid to fill your void, especially now that you have a legitimate reason. Well, sort of.
