Tilda Swinton Leads Epic Dance Off In Roger Ebert's Honor! See The Inspirational Vid HERE!

Filed under: Icky Icky PooR.I.P.InspirationTilda SwintonDance

ZOMG!!! This is wonderful!!!

If there's one thing the endings of the Silver Linings Playbook, Little Miss Sunshine, and Napoleon Dynamite taught us, it's that dancing turns sadness into smiles 100% of the time!

Our hearts continue to ache from legendary film critic Roger Ebert's passing earlier this month, but talented thespian Tilda Swinton was the guest of honor at Ebertfest 2013 this past weekend and she was dead-set on turning our frowns upside down!!!

Ch-ch-check out the Moonrise Kingdom star shake her groove thang to Barry White's You're the First, the Last, My Everything (above)!

Aww!!

Fifteen hundred people dancing together in a packed theater on the University of Illinois campus to celebrate the life of a man they admired!!! Such an ah-mazing tribute!!

We're sure Roger's widow Chaz was touched by the overwhelming sentiment!!

6th Graders End Up In Hospital After Eating Pot Brownie!!

This is awful!

Six boys and one girl have been hospitalized after they all ate a piece of a pot laced brownie.

They allegedly were given the "special" brownie by another student who failed to warn them of its super potent ingredients!

Firefighters were called to Pomona Elementary School after seven children arrived at the nurse's office and complained of symptoms that ranged from difficulty breathing, nausea, and vomiting - poor kiddos!

All seven students were hospitalized, but it looks like they're all okay as the seven kids have all been released to their parents.

The details are still unclear whether the student who passed out the brownie knew of its illegal ingredients, but if that student did know and the student failed to warn the classmates of it - then that is SO uncool!

Learn more about the story by watching the video (above) !!!

Kristen Stewart Didn't Steal Freddie Mercury's Missing Burial Plaque, Did She?!

freddie mercury burial plaque stolen missing queen sad ashes another one bites the dust

Somewhere in the world, a cold-blooded thief is holding a tombstone above their heads and singing We Are the Champions — and it makes us MAD!

The final resting place of the late, great Freddie Mercury was uncovered a few months ago, but maybe that wasn't such a good thing!

Grave robbers reportedly broke into the London cemetery where the Bohemian Rhapsody singer's ashes are believed to be located and STOLE HIS BURIAL PLAQUE!

Blasphemers! What wicked souls could commit a crime so heinous!?

Was it… Could it be… Is there a chance K-Stew was involved!?

Kristen did try nabbing

Storage War Star Who Committed Suicide Was Just Following Russell Armstrong's Lead!?

Filed under: R.I.P.Sad SadReal HousewivesReality TV

mark-balelo-suicide-russell-armstrong

There is no silver lining to this sad, sad story.

Before Storage Wars star Mark Balelo tragically took his own life, those closest to him say he compared himself to another ill-fated reality man, Russell Armstrong of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Mark was worried about his recent drug arrest and couldn't shake the parallels between what his situation and what Russell suffered through after reports surfaced of his possible domestic abuse against Taylor Armstrong.

The Storage Wars guy even went so far as to say he "understood" why Russell chose to end his own life in 2011.

And then, on Sunday, he poisoned himself in his own car with carbon monoxide.

Ugh. No situation is completely hopeless; suicide is never the answer.

It's all so very sad.

Our thoughts extend to those closest to Mark in this time of hardship.

Pepper Davis, Inspiration For A League Of Their Own, Has Died

pepper davis passed passes away sad rip death dying la a league of their own geena davis

Lavonne "Pepper" Paire-Davis was one badass woman. Not only did she inspire the movie A League of Their Own AND Geena Davis's role (which almost went to Demi Moore), she was a a star of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League in the 1940s.

In 1943, the league was created because everyone was afraid that WWII would disrupt the MLB, and they wanted something to fall back on. Pepper joined in 1944 and played for TEN SEASONS.
