At 54 years old, Brad Lesley had already enjoyed a few years of MLB play and being a part of a bunch of 90s sports movies — but that doesn't make his passing any less sad. 54 is waaaay too young!
His death has stemmed from kidney issues, and according to his ex-wife, he had been living in a nursing home for the past seven months. He had been getting dialysis, but succumbed to kidney failure in the end.
Such a bummer. Who could forget his goatee in Little Big League??
Our hearts go out to his friends and family.

How sad!
Pat Summerall was a legendary NFL announcer for many decades, but he died today of cardiac arrest.
After playing as a pro himself for nearly a decade, Pat joined the CBS broadcast team in 1964 and quickly became a legend!
He most famously worked for years in tandem with John Madden — the iconic pair called many memorable football games together!
In a statement, John said:
"Pat was my broadcasting partner for a long time, but more than that he was my friend for all of these years. Pat Summerall is the voice of football and always will be."
Aww!!
Ch-ch-check out Pat's final broadcast performance with John from Super Bowl XXXVI…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

This seems like something out of a comic book, but this is for real!
Kim Suozzi is a 23-year-old woman who has an aggressive brain cancer called Glioblastoma multiforme.
She was very interested in science fiction and the brain and even was considering cryopreservation even before her cancer diagnosis!
The hope is that once preserved, after years and years go by and future doctors and scientists discover a cure for cancer and learn how to reanimate frozen people, she'd be brought back!

We hate having to bring news like this to you guys, but we're sure you'd want to know:
Darrell Royal, the former Texas football coach, has passed away at 88. He was known for his simplistic approach to life and his creative wishbone offenses… and two national championships. Sadly, Royal had suffered from Alzheimer's disease and recently fell at an assisted living center — and we hate that anyone goes like this.
A man who didn't have a single losing season in his 23 years as a head coach at Texas, Mississippi State and Washington, doesn't deserve to go out like that. Alzheimer's is so scary.
We're so sorry for the loss of his friends and family, and wish them all the best.

Art Modell, most famous for moving the Cleveland Browns and turning them into the Baltimore Ravens (something that didn't sit well with fans) has just passed away.
At 87 years old, Art was a legend in the NFL community, and had been admitted to Johns Hopkins on Wednesday.
He sold the Ravens in 2004, but still retained a 1% ownership — and will be missed by many.
No word yet on the cause of his passing.
